I thought so! Thanks for the clarification. I see that courts blocked President Biden’s efforts as well. So tired of “Games (MAGAs) Play.”

Wasn’t Biden’s included in the Inflation Reduction Act (which wasn’t a reduction of much at all)

Yes, you are right. Biden was limited in what he could do given big pharmacy in the U.S. I’m the happy recipient of one of the things he was able to do…the out of pocket limit had been $8,000 😡 for copay’s etc. Inflation Reduction Act put it down to $2,000 this year—still horrible when you compare it to other countries, but better. I met the deductible by mid-Feb. thanks to my keeping CVS in business. Biden accomplished quite a bit, confirmed by Trump’s complaints and the many executive orders he’s given to kill what Biden had done. Can’t believe he has only just started…

I’m glad to hear you are having a savings. I disagree that Biden accomplished much since usually the money just shifts around behind the curtain. Maybe with Trump too, but I trust him more (at least at this point) I like his administration

By the time you figure it out it will be too late.

It’s already too late.

I absolutely agree with the truth of Bernie Sanders. We have watched Trump's slight of hand distractions before, if Trump wants to lower drugs, tell Republican legislators to work with Democrats to get a bill passed.

Do you remember just last year, there was a bipartisan bill on Immigration that Trump torpedoed? If it had passed, maybe, those that did not vote would have made an effort!

Trump asked Congress to delay a vote on immigration because he intended to campaign on that subject. And it has worked well for him as President as well. Frankly, he doesn’t bring much to the people but the subject of immigration. I also think that his abandoning Kilmer Abrego Garcia to keep us busy out here where he’s in the WH trying to achieve absolute power.

Compared to Canada. A study found that the average US manufacturer price for a standard vial of insulin was $98.70, while in Canada, it was $12

Biden capped insulin at $35 a month for those on Medicare. He wanted to do the same for all insulin-dependent Americans, but the GOP Congress torpedoed it. Have you ever stopped to think just what has the GOP actually done to benefit the American people? I'd say NOTHING! You might not have favored Kamala Harris, but if we had her as President we would have a clown show running all our cabinet offices, nor a GOP party actively aiding and abetting the overthrow of our democracy.

I knew last night when POTUS Trump previewed his Executive Order on lowering drug costs that it was totally meaningless and I am sure the vast majority of individuals who are heavily dependent on life saving drugs (I am a Heart Transplant Recipient 20 years out ) believe the same. POTUS Trump is a “Con Man” and his E.O. Is all smoke and mirrors. POTUS Trump thinks the American people are stupid but he will find out in 2026 that American voters are smart people! Finally, if POTUS was smart he would tell his Republican majority in the U.S. Senate to support Senator Sander’s legislation. Unfortunately, that scenario will not happen and the American people will continue

getting bilked by Big Pharma !

I love Bernie, but trump doesn't know how government works; he has no understanding about legislation or any aspect of how its supposed to work. I am exhausted by these unqualified, uneducated people.

I disagree; he's trying to dismantle the government as vengeance against all those who voted against him. He's been angry for years since the New York society people rejected him, the democrats rejected him, and now much of the country is opposed to his policies. If he knew how government worked, he'd find a way to legally get through his agenda. He has no clue how to use the levels of government so he works through executive orders.

Agreed. And the Incompicabinet has no clue either. They know about as much about how all the various divisions within their agencies work, as Alina knew when she couldn’t even properly introduce evidence.

It is a front like everything else he does. This way he can claim innocence, #ITRIED, the usual and then it will be Biden's fault. or Obama's fault, or someone else's fault. Possibly Hillary. Of course Hegseth is not at fault for his Signal problem because Heggie is golden. trumpus is a disgusting creature. Emphasis on the pus, because he is an infection of the worst kind, like Viral hemorrhagic fever.
