He is right (thank you, Senator Sanders); Musk is in charge and must be held accountable for his actions. Republicans must see how these actions regarding Vets and Social Security will impact millions of Americans. It will also impact Republicans at the polls if they continue to do nothing.
If Trump privatizes Social Security (God forbid), I want the money I paid into it for almost 40 years back. We all should start screaming loud that we are owed this money.

I'd like to know what my senators are doing. Murray and Cantwell both hard working and long term representatives. I saw that Murray was going to give the speech a miss but haven't seen Cantwells name at all. They should not be afraid for their mandates. They are well liked here.
I would appreciate senators and other representatives from western states to be publicizing the effects on the Federal forested lands of firing employees. Not only do these employees (direct and contract) support recreational use, one of the other multiple uses of these lands is identifying and suppressing fire. I recommend less time and money in a western red state adjacent to WA/OR/CA if fires cannot be suppressed. Coastal states will be safer.

If the laid-off Social Security employees who are over 62 figure they can apply for Social Security benefits...well, good luck with that. It's like trying to open the car door when you've locked the keys inside. Although in this case someone else locked the door.
