I hope he can win back his seat next year and score a full term in 2028.

It was so disappointing seeing that used car salesman Bernie Moreno beat him last year.

It was more than disappointing. It was another verdict on the idiocy of a large segment of American voters. Sherrod has spent his entire life fighting for working people, And those eejits in Ohio go no, he’s got a D next to his name so let's vote for this repulsive used car salesman. Voting once again to shoot themselves in the foot Makes sense on earth 2 I guess.

Did Moreno and magaDon actually win? I mean, how could a bankrupt, sexual pervert, compulsive liar that told people to inject bleach during the covid pandemic actually win? Maybe "complete voter amnesia?" Complete voter "social media amnesia?" Complete "billionaire bullshit news amnesia?" magaDon told people he didn't need any more votes multiple times. Maybe the Millions of voters that we think did not vote actually did vote but their votes were not counted. It's the Stalin doctrine, "I do not care who votes, only who counts the votes."

I have family that live in Ohio (Medina). They couldn't believe Ohioans voted for a piece of GOP shit like Moreno. Sherrod Brown had proved himself over and over that he truly advocated for all Ohioans, especially the lower- and middle-class folks. This ought to prove once and for all how fricking fickle voters are every election cycle.

Normally I wouldn't give the Dems a shot of taking Senate seats in Ohio or Texas, but by the time the midterms roll around it might actually be possible to win those two seats as well as North Carolina. But keep this in mind, we must keep the seat we already have in Georgia. That is paramount. Please contribute to Senator Jon Ossoff's campaign if you can afford it, if only a couple of bucks.

I am a huge fan of Sherrod Brown. If Dems can replace our senate "leadership," and get some

energetic progressives in charge, I think he will be a shoo-in. I am quite sure that Bernie, AOC and Elizabeth Warren will endorse and support him.

So grateful Brown is stepping up. He is for the people of his state and country unlike the Billionaires who will never have enough. Starving the poor, taking away medical care, treating people like trash because we are not in THE 1%.

I highly respect and admire Sherrod Brown, but is there something against new blood in the Democratic Party. It seems they don’t believe in developing candidates and passing the baton.

New blood won't flip that seat back in Ohio in 2026. New blood isn't always the answer.---Jason

I also agree to a point, but Brown was always very good for us in Ohio and he should never have lost the last election. He is a strong candidate that people know well. I'd love to see him back as an experienced effective person, then see a young firebrand go after the other seat when it is up. Let's get rid of both Moreno and Husted.

Agree with this in general, but with both Brown and Roy Cooper (note I used to live in Ohio and now am in NC), these are well loved and experienced people and right now we need our best chances for winning. I also think they will both be supportive of promoting the next gen of Dems. But also both are best shots for this moment.

I do agree with you to a point. The way I look at it this time around is that our goal is to win back the senate first and foremost. But dems have got to start looking toward the future and start bringing in young blood because they are our future!
