Disney should t ell these inbred, southern-fried fascist fucks that if they keep on past tomorrow night, "Say good-bye to your sports feed this weekend - for all your stations." These has-been local TV stations are only profitable because of weekend sportz. Cancel a weekend for each day of their bullshit and they'll both be bankrupt in a month.

As it should be. Enough of the fear and mealy attitude of scare that trump is bullying for constant control. Are your companies worth your lead and control, or not? Have you no integrity or faith in yourself? Grow a spine and stop reciprocating to fascism.

ABC do your job and put your subsidiaries in line with beliefs in the constitution, after all you are an American.

The capitulation is mind boggling. I always knew that companies revered money but they laid down for him like long grass in a strong wind. Spinelessness without patriotism. You hit it on the head. Great comment. Thanks!

The lawless billion dollar corporations run by the disgustingly rich billionaires are simply following in the footsteps of Fritz Thyssen (richest man in '30s Germany); brown nose the nazis. However, just like Fritz, these new brown nosers will fall to the same fate... a reservation at Dachau. Money did save his life though, but he had to breath the stench and hear the sounds of death while in Dachau along with his wife Amelie. Fritz died in Argentina while Amelie died in Germany.

At present, Democrats don't (yet) have a strong hand to play. But when they do, look out appeasers and enablers.

The first priority should be to fix the weak points in the constitutional infrastructure that allowed these crooks and ideologues to work around, or roll over, the system of checks and balances.

Top of the list should be responsibly reining in SCOTUS, then explicitly redefining and rolling back the expanded (unitary executive) authority of the Executive Branch.

Add 4 new progressive judges on the SC bench, like FDR wanted to do. Apply ethics like all federal judges. Apply stiff penalties (jail) for lack of ethics. Undo the roberts/alito decisions that have punched holes in our Constitution.

Did you see today that Jesse Waters on Fox News suggested bombing or gassing the UN because the orange shitgibbon got his feefees in a wad over the escalator and teleprompter mishaps? I would love to see Fox News leave the air. Rupert Murdoch's creation of this horrid "news" company has done more to divide our country than any other individual.

Investigation is definitely in order as interference by FCC going against constitutional guarantees of free speech must be challenged. These moves to control media platforms is unacceptable.

Agree. This attack on our 1st Amendment is unacceptable, but is it stoppable with Alito and Roberts in charge of re-writing our Constitution as we type.

Feel like these loyalist Supreme Court judges have been stifling the rule of law in the most obvious and blatantly partisan way. 47 won’t be in office and when Dems take over seems a priority should be a revision of our Supreme Court entirely. More justices, less years seated any and all ways to balance and protect the constitution and the rule of law.

Good for them. I was wondering when the Democrats would turn the tables & start investigating the Republicans. Patel & Bondi should also be investigated. These two, & others of the Trump crime family, are making a complete mockery of our system of "justice" & are aiding & abetting career criminal Donald Trump in his illegal & constitutional behavior. They seem to think they are Trump employees instead pf working for the American people who pay them to seek truth & justice in all things. This "supreme" court is the most corrupt in American history. The 6-member Republican majority is running roughshod over our Constitution & pursing their own personal agendas. No surprise who appointed these 6: The 2 Bushes & Trump. No wonder they're so corrupt. They are also members of two organizations who are behind "Project 2025, the Heritage Foundation & the Federalist Society, all conspiring to change our country's governing into an authoritarian structure. They have enough time left on Trump's present term to make it happen.

The Texas 18th was held by Democrat Sylvester Turner until he passed away in March. The Tennessee 7th was held by maga Mark Green until his retirement in July. WE NEED TO WIN BACK BOTH THESE SEATS!

Where is the outrage over Stephen Colbert being dropped? Although he did poke fun at President tRump, he did the same with Biden. Why isn't there outrage over CBS dropping his show? Seems like there's a breach in the first amendment here too!!

We could start a letter-writing and phone-calling campaign to have Colbert "uncanceled." If we can get millions of people to swamp CBS, then I'm convinced they'll listen. I canceled my Paramount+ subscription over the firing of Colbert. I haven't seen how many others canceled their subscriptions. This action affected Disney, so why wouldn't it work for Paramount+ and CBS?

Dems need to hold the line regarding free speech, release of the Epstein files, and the government shutdown. They have a trifecta of issues that the American people are invested in: upholding constitutional rights, getting justice for victims, and repairing some of the damage we will see regarding the big ugly bill

ABC violated the principle rule for dealing with bullies when they essentially have given Trump their lunch money.

When confronted by a bully what do you do? You punch him in the mouth, even when he is bigger than you, particularly in fact, if he is bigger than you. Trump has always been a bully and has remained so. He is also a coward (most bullies are), and should be related to in that sense. Only some good can come from that strategy. He should be sued from ever direction imaginable every time he tries to do anything. This goes for his cohorts as well making Trump radioactive to the gaggle of grifters, careerists, and religious loony tunes in his so-called administration. ....R. Poche, New Orleans

Since Trump is so thin-skinned and the opposite of manly, a public campaign reminding Americans that television comedians have ALWAYS made fun of presidents from both parties. We have a long tradition of that from as far back as Will Rogers. It's as American as apple pie, and only a wuss would seek to censor comedians. Show the world that we know what a wimp Trump is and that he cannot even handle a joke. Anyone in politics or in the public eye knows that they need to have a tough skin, but Trump is such a toddler that he can't let the rest of us enjoy late-night comedians. Make him look weak and foolish, which of course he is.
