State Rep. James Talarico (D-TX) used the Bible and Jesus to blast supposed Republican Christians who are fighting to take healthcare away from people.
So every ten minutes someone dies so the rich get richer. Jesus also spoke of the rich and their love for money. They will not see the Kingdom of God (per scripture). Christians are commanded to help the sick, hungry, homeless, immigrant, foreigner, visit the prisoner. Yeah, donโt see republicans doing any of this or even promoting it with their deceitful mouths.
Never mind religion--extending the subsidies is the DECENT thing to do. That's presumably why our ersatz president is against it. And that's why his followers and imitators are against it,too, Bible notwithstanding.
Yes I think Talarico is amazing man and a great counter to people like Charlie Kirk, lucky to have him speaking out on the importance of the morality of what this administration is doing
I wholeheartedly agree with JAMES Talaricoโผ๏ธ He speaks from the heart and he understands more than just scripture. He understands how the US government works, and he wants to make it work for all of us not just the wealthy billionaires who finance the Trump regimeโผ๏ธโ๐ผ๐คฌ
None of the republicans in Congress are real Christianโs because you donโt take away health care and say you are following the Christian faith. Duh. It doesnโt make sense. But these days, what doesโฆ
Exactly that. Using one bronze age religion to support a political position is the same as using any other bronze age superstition to support your position. If I read it right, Jesus sucked at politics, but he delivered a message readily accepted by the poor. As did the Buddha. Thor on the other hand...
James Talarico is the kind of young candidate our party needs.
Thank goodness another TRUE Christian โค๏ธ๐จ๐ฆโค๏ธ
We have so many fake Christians in our Texas politics that Talarico is refreshing.

I agree with James Talarico
Throw the book at them.
Of course this is how the issue should be framed.

Iโm not religious, but this feels
like truth to me.

What would Buddha do?

I give up. What?
Iโm a huge fan of his logic and reasoning. I think heโll turn a few million heads and hearts!
A young man democracy lovers should rally around and Trump followers fear! Impeccable character, intellect and personality; everything TRUMP IS NOT!!!
Love him!
