Senate Democrats got several wins on Medicaid cuts in the Byrd Bath process that tossed several provisions that would cut Medicaid funding and ACA access from the tax cuts bill.
They can't get rid of everything through the Bryd Bath process, so in the end, the only way this thing gets stopped is by Republicans voting no.---Jason

I just saw a provision in the bill that requires the USPS to dump all the electric vehicles they have bought and then purchase gas or diesel vehicles, costing we the taxpayers $450 MILLION. Why? Another giveaway to big oil and screw the environment. I have called my Senators and let them know my opinion about this, one of many calls I've made. They never return my calls. I wonder why? My Senators are scammer Rick Scott and recently appointed Duhsantis toady Ashley Moody.

I'm glad it's working but it should NEVER be the case. Budgets especially need to be bipartisan, 60% to pass period. If both or all parties are not involved it should immediately stop work on the budget and revert to the previous budget.

I'm on the other side of the pond. I hated Brexit, but it reached a point where I wanted it to be as bad as possible in order to wake people up. Now 70% of the country know it was a bad idea, and the Conservative Party has all but disintegrated. Hang on in there.
