Even though reports have been going around for years that Trump despised his own supporters and felt that they were bad-looking, poorly dressed, and did not want them close to him, Trump supporters continued to think that the president was their fighter.

Trump’s tariffs, trade war, and real war with Iran increased inflation and caused prices to skyrocket.
Trump was harming them, and very slowly, Trump’s own base has started to get the message and lose faith in him.
Most of MAGA remains in his corner, but the number of self-identified MAGAs continues to drop.
