I hope they show a little backbone and DO IT. As far as I’m concerned Trump deserves NO breaks, and he gets way too many of them. What an embarrassment; he’s the guy our Founding Fathers tried to protect us from.

there's got to be a Bob Woodward & Carl Bernstein team out there somewhere. They took down Nixon... A good investigative reporter or team of investigative reporters can do the same for this cover up of the relationship between drumpf and jeffrey epstein. I hope the Wall Street Journal comes through.

Even Woodward's hanging onto them til they'll make the most money these days, capitalism caught and killed journalism I think.

Maybe mainstream journalism, but Woodward and Bernstein were young and hungry and energized. I bet there are some young hungry journalists out there that could be all over this.

Yeah, main stream is what I'm referring to, IE, the erstwhile "fourth estate" which is unfortunately, the place where the vast majority still get their news. What I mean by capitalism killed it is, any one of those outlets could have killed this thing within the first six months of his first term.

The fact sadly, is they were enjoying that ratings bump too much to do that, so they spent four years saying ANYTHING but the word "lie", just as one example, and then another four pretending Biden was the most horrible president ever.

Make no mistake, we are totally here because the press hasn't done its job in a decade, it's so disgusting I barely have words for it. There are a ton of independent places to get news now, and it's reliable enough that I gave up on ALL of the main stream press several years back, and I'd subscribed to it, the WaPo, the Times et al, for well over a decade.

The problem is that the independent stuff still doesn't have the reach that the main stream press has, I wish everyone would abandon all of it, and give their full attention to the independent stuff, they should pay a price for abandoning US in favor of chasing a dollar.

That is, the fourth estate have basically abdicated, if they won't even tell the truth about trump's rotting brain, I don't trust a word out of them.

Yeah... I am totally behind you on this one. Money and ratings became the driving factor for what was reported. I have always been a rebel and have never truly and completely believed anything that anyone has ever "told" me. If it is "real," then I will "see" it as real just like the person who is telling me it is "real" - I've spent too many years of having people peeing on my boots and telling me it is a rainstorm to count, and I don't support anyone or any business who does that.

When I was growing up, rags like the Enquirer were not to be believed or supported except for entertainment. Then the news stations became the Enquirer and I lost interest in watching them. I prefer comedy as entertainment, not entertainment pretending to be news.

I also do not believe in getting people all stirred up and freaked out over conjecture, speculation, opinion, or something that is just unlikely to happen, which is part of all media now days because of the need for "views," "ratings," "clicks," etc.

It would be good to get back to being able to report the five W's & H (who, what, where, when, why & how). That's hard to find unaccompanied by the "hyped" headlines these days.

It wasn’t just Woodward and Bernstein (although much respect is due). It was Katherine Graham who faced a huge risk in allowing the story to go forward. She was a profile in courage for sure.

I devoutly hope that the Wall Street Journal shows some spine and ethics and prints this story.

I am fed up to the back teeth with catch-and-kill journalism.

Ah memories, remember "release the memo" ? Lol, Christ, feels like a hundred years since old Devin Nunez's cow.... 😆

Whatever happened to that guy? It's amazing how they spin into, and back out of the Rump chaos vortex, just one after another, too many to even recall. He's hanging onto them this time, guess the bottom of the barrel is tapped.

Trump has recently been peddling the lie that the Jeffrey Epstein matter was mostly under Biden’s administration. Epstein was arrested by the DOJ under Trump’s administration and died in federal custody while Trump was president. He’s been living a lie for almost eighty years.

Trump and Epstein are cut from the same cloth. They are despicable, dastardly creatures withering in the shadows of greed, pride, and lust. It’s an easy step to see DJT sexually abusing young children. He’s been accused by many, many women - both adults and juveniles. HRs been held civilly liable for sexually assaulting E. Jean Carrol. He said all we need to know about his sexual character - do you remember - “grab em by the pussy?” I do.

The more Trump tries to shut this down, the bigger the story will become! He fired the prosecutor in the Epstein case because he knows eventually she will be coming for him. She has made it known that no one is above the law especially those with money. This may just be the straw that broke the camels back!

Even the most practiced liar on the planet can't defend against pedophilia.

The thing is, when it involves the soulless Commander-In-Hate, it fits like a glove.

If this sinks him, it'll be the greatest case of poetic justice ever, only to be matched by Musketamine being incinerated in one of his Cybertrucks across from an unemployment line.

Be still my beating heart.
