Donald Trump is going to avoid the gigantic Women’s March on Washington protest in Washington, D.C. on Saturday by taking the oath of office and going on vacation until Monday.

Trump told The Times of London that he would not be showing up for work after being sworn in, “One of the first orders I’m gonna sign – day one – which I will consider to be Monday as opposed to Friday or Saturday. Right? I mean my day one is gonna be Monday because I don’t want to be signing and get it mixed up with lots of celebration, but one of the first orders we’re gonna be signing is gonna be strong borders.”

I mean, come on. Who works on a Friday or Saturday, right? It’s just the presidency. The most powerful and important job in the world.

It is unclear whether Trump is going to stay at the White House or head home after being sworn in.

Trump won’t have to worry about hearing from the majority of Americans who didn’t support him because he is going to high tail it out of work ASAP. In other words, one of the first acts of Donald Trump’s presidency is going to be to hide from protesters.

For a man who criticized his opponents as low energy during the campaign, Trump is wasting no time in taking a vacation. In fact, Trump isn’t even going to bother with the job of being president. When things get tough, Trump is going to show true leadership by going into hiding.

It looks like America could be flying on autopilot for the next four years, as Trump is acting like a president who is planning on being missing in action.
