Minds Are Blown As Trump Doesn’t Know The Difference Between Health And Life Insurance

When asked about health insurance, Trump rambled about plans people could get for $1 a month that would be really nice when they are 70 years old, which leads one to conclude that Trump got his health care knowledge from life insurance ads that he watched on Fox News.

Transcript of Trump:

HABERMAN: That’s been the thing for four years. When you win an entitlement, you can’t take it back.

TRUMP: But what it does, Maggie, it means it gets tougher and tougher. As they get something, it gets tougher. Because politically, you can’t give it away. So pre-existing conditions are a tough deal. Because you are basically saying from the moment the insurance, you’re 21 years old, you start working and you’re paying $12 a year for insurance, and by the time you’re 70, you get a nice plan. Here’s something where you walk up and say, “I want my insurance.” It’s a very tough deal, but it is something that we’re doing a good job of.

People may have underestimated Trump’s lack of knowledge. Not only does Trump not have any political knowledge, but he also appears to lack basic life knowledge. Trump not knowing the difference between health and life insurance is not surprising. He was born rich. He has never had to worry about his health insurance. He has never had to take a job for the health care benefits. Trump was probably born with a family life insurance policy.

Donald Trump has no real world experience about anything, so the next time Trump tries to tell America how it is, keep in mind that this is a man who is so out of touch with the way that most people live that he doesn’t know the difference between health insurance and life insurance.
