Trump’s Shithole Mar-a-Lago Cited For Violations That Pose A Serious Threat To Public Safety

Trump called the White House a dump, and African countries “shitholes,” but it was his private club Mar-a-Lago that was cited for 15 code violations that pose a serious threat to public health and safety.

The Miami Herald reported:

Trump’s club, located on a beachfront property where the historic main house was built in the 1920s for cereals heiress Marjorie Merriweather Post, was cited Nov. 8 for two violations deemed high priority: the lack of smoke detectors capable of alerting the hearing impaired through flashing bright lights; and slabs of concrete missing from a staircase, exposing steel rebar that could cause someone to fall.

“High priority lodging violations are those which could pose a direct or significant threat to the public health, safety, or welfare,” the inspection code reads.

The November inspections of the club’s two main kitchens, meanwhile, yielded a total 15 violations.

These are the types of violations that indicate that a business is poorly run with little attention paid to the law and details. In other words, it is a typical Donald Trump operation. Trump once complained to friends that the White House is a dump, but maybe the problem is that the White House is too well maintained for Trump’s tastes.

Apparently, Trump prefers to stay in places with dangerous food standards and hazardous conditions that could potentially kill him. Trump has spent decades trying to pass off his corner-cutting junk as high quality.

Mar-a-Lago is no different than the Trump presidency. Beneath a self-aggrandized exterior is crumbling structure that it a danger to anyone who sets foot inside of it.
