Transcript of Rep. Castro talking to MSNBC’s Katy Tur:
Rep. Castro: As you can imagine a lot of it affirms of what Michael Cohen said. He brought up the fact that he believed that president trump had knowledge of the trump tower meeting that he had knowledge of upcoming Wikileaks dumps, at least one of them. Tur: Tell me why you said that?
Castro: I can’t speak specifically about the kinds of cases that are being talked about but based on what was described to us, it gets pretty close to the
Tur: He said they’re investigating more crimes. Can you tell us if it is financial crimes or are they fraud crimes? What sort of crimes, campaign finance crimes?
Castro: I can’t say right now but they’re a serious matter and can pose serious legal jeopardy for the president and his family members.
Tur: You say and his family members so I am assuming you are talking about don Jr. And Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner?

Michael Cohen said it during his public testimony, and it is true. Conspiracies are hard to prove, which is why Mueller might not come back with evidence that Trump himself conspired with the Russians during the 2016 election. However, the Southern District of New York has already connected Trump to multiple felonies. The New York investigations don’t have the limited scope of the Mueller investigation.
The biggest threat to Trump is that his decades of financial fraud and crimes will be revealed.
While Trump’s connection to Russia is the bigger national security threat, it is the SDNY prosecutions that could land Trump and his kids in prison.
