Rudy Giuliani said that he had canceled his trip to Ukraine as he managed to throw in a helping of Putin propaganda.

Giuliani told Fox News, “There was a great fear that the new president would be surrounded by, literally, enemies of the president who were involved in that and people who are involved with other Democratic operatives, and one particular oligarch who would influence him, and I’m convinced from what I’ve heard from two very reliable people tonight that the president is surrounded by people who are enemies of the president, and people who are — at least one case — clearly corrupt and involved in this scheme, and the reality is that this has nothing to do with the election of 2020. The election of 2020 is a long time from now, and if I wanted to interfere in the election, which I don’t, I could have held this for a year and dropped it right before the convention. The reality is that I came about this by accident while investigating Ukranian collusion with Democrats to affect the election and also to create the false narrative against the president.”

Giuliani claimed that his decision had nothing to do with Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) calling for an investigation into his trip. It isn’t a coincidence that the trip was suddenly off hours after the ranking Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee demanded an investigation.
Rudy Giuliani got busted trying to use the presidency to pressure a foreign government to help him invent dirt on Joe Biden. The Ukraine conspiracy that Giuliani is pushing is based on a lie and the idea that Ukraine is an enemy is straight out of Putin’s propaganda that goes back years to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Democrats know Trump’s schemes. They aren’t going to be blindsided, and the halting of Giuliani’s trip is an example of Trump’s abuse of power can be stopped through sunlight and public pressure.
