Matt McDermott laid out how Trump delayed tariffs after he got some free fireworks for his 4th of July party:
Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) responded by cc’ing the FBI on a potential presidential bribe:
If it turns out that Donald Trump was bribed with fireworks, it would the most Trump thing ever. Of course, Donald Trump would be too cheap to pay for his own fireworks, so he committed a felony to get them for free. That’s how Donald Trump has operated for his entire life, and his presidency is no different. The FBI should look into Trump’s shady 4th of July party, but House Democrats shouldn’t wait for a federal law enforcement investigation.
The Trump inauguration is already under criminal investigation.
If the House digs deep, they will find the same level of criminality and corruption inside of Trump’s 4th of July party.
