Finally, some Republicans with a spine.

Relax. The rich Republicans who live in New York have been furious about the tax cap from the first millionaires tax cut.

This isn’t about courage. It’s about their rich constituents demanding a higher cap. Holding onto more of their money.

It’s ALWAYS about the rich.

These 4 are hardly brave. They’re complicit.

If they cut medicaid, I’m dead; it’s as simple as that.

I don’t care who did what. Kill the bill!

Thank you. I'm tired of pieces of crap getting pats on the back for suspending their shittiness for a nanosecond. Because honestly if they could do it once they could have been doing it the whole fucking time.

When it hits them directly in the pocketbook. They still want to slash Medicaid, etc. because that does not affect them.

You’re right it doesn’t happen all the time, but it needs to happen more often. Now that they have some courage and they know that they can say no. They’re too afraid I guess of the revenge that King might inflict upon them. Big babies.

Help me to understand this- even if it’s for their wealthy constituents isn’t it best to “wreck” the big bill? How might these 4 perpetuate something more evil? Do you think this will influence other R’s to “cross the isle”?

You’re thinking like it’s going to do somebody good. Trust me, these Republicans are not interested in helping anyone except themselves. They are up to no good.

this is clearly just a PR stunt....they are Republicans. That means they will do as they are told. After a bit of BS posturing for constituents, they will vote as they are told to vote. Mindless, soulless cretins all. And incidentally, there is no such thing as a worm with a spine...no offense to the optimistic posters. Lucy always pulls the football away. I do hope I am wrong , but I bet a beer.

Absolutely 100%. I lived in Stefanik’s district for years until they re-zoned. There is not one good intention behind this woman or the other others. This is not good news because there is definitely bad intentions behind it.

Yes, they are speaking up and growing spine! As they did for us, we need to call the reps and let them know, we stand with them. People don't understand what they just put on the line. Be sure to let them know we got your back for doing the right thing.

Sadly, I think this is only a distraction to keep Americans from delving too deeply into the horrific specifics of the bill. They have every intention of voting yes but by the time the vote finally comes up, it will be far too late to stop it. Trump doesn't like seeing all of the protests and this is the solution.
