Remarkable that Schiff poked the right spot and Patal exploded. Finally some TRUTH. Sick of this criminal party. Time to get rid of all the players in the dtrump drama. Lock him up with all of dtrump stooges and the 5 corrupt SCOTUS.

If only Schiff would bring this kind of fire to the microphone every day to hold this regime to account about everything!!

He usually does. I have seen Schiff take down many a hostile witness during Senate hearings.

We need him to take down the Retrumplican Party and call them out for each and every single thing they’re doing to us!!

Not just in a hearing room but everywhere every day in front of the microphones straight into our eyes and ears!!

It’s funny how he ebbs and flows. Now he’s here, very vocal and great, then he vanishes without a peep. Masterful, but inconsistent.

I do NOT disagree w you, Annie, but this has occurred to me and others, too.

Talking with friends and some former colleagues re Schiff over the past few years and today - the bottom line for the group was pretty much a feeling of gratitude that he's still hanging in there, fighting the battles that he undertakes.

This is all grueling, exhausting - when he "vanishes" we really don't know what he may be doing to, literally, take care of (refuel) himself.

While it would be wonderful if he could deliver 24/7... no one can do that.

We (the group mentioned above) just wish there were "more" like Schiff - clones? - something. We need his energy when he can bring it.

Thank you helping me remember that he’s human. We all can only do what we can do. I can be grateful for his voice and energy--he’s very compelling to me..honorable, integrity, well spoken...all excellent qualities. I imagine it’s hard being objective when all around him, elected people he thought he knew and could trust have been swayed by the evil. Such a huge realization to swallow.. I am grateful he’s hanging in. Thanks for the reframing...

Well said Annie. Remember that sometimes the loudest messages are said in a calm voice.

Parents oftentimes use that technique to shock their children. Adam Schiff is a relentless crusader of the truth. And he’s not addicted to attention so we don’t always know what he’s up to.

Annie, we have a Rep who is amazing in terms of work she's doing and communicating around that. Perfect? No - but she shows up, she and her staff are responsive. She actually represents us (yes: shocking in the current world - but here we are...)

She is criticized heavily, constantly for not doing 'more'... we'd love to clone her but until we can do that we really try to work with her and thank her for what she has done and continues to do.

Our Senators are a different story... and, yes, I'm critical of each, both - do not find them acting in their constituents' best interests.

Its a crazy situation.

If you follow Sen. Schiff, you’ll know that he’s been doing a podcast where he helps the American people understand the complexities of the government. He’s been a special kind of person who goes the extra mile for us.

Ooooh, a podcast?!?🤔

Would you agree that not everyone listens to those things?? I don’t.

What we NEED is every member of our leadership and anyone of our Representatives who have even a moment of their day, to go out in public in front of cameras to tell us:

THIS REGIME IS TAKING AWAY YOUR RIGHTS, YOUR HEALTHCARE, YOUR ENTITLEMENTS, YOUR TAX DOLLARS TO GIVE THEMSELVES AN ENORMOUS TAX BREAK, YOUR EDUCATION, YOUR TAX PAYER SERVICES AND YOUR VOICE!!

If you can’t see the difference, nothing I can say will make you.

Have a better day ✌🏼

A podcast is cheaper and more efficient than that.

Wow! Now that’s an attack I didn’t see coming! Did I say anything at all about disagreeing with what you said? I don’t disagree at all. We need leaders and followers that recognize what we are in jeopardy of losing! And we not only need them loud and proud we need a clarifying plan to fight them. If the Democrats can’t do that they are lost as a party and we’ve lost all the rights you mentioned as well as a whole host of others. We are on a precipice and don’t have the time to keep waiting for a knight in shining armor to save us. We must save ourselves. I pray this can be done peacefully and without bloodshed. You bemoaned that Sen. Schiff wasn’t doing enough and I encouraged you to look further. No, he doesn’t raise his voice. He brings a whole lot to the table and I wanted you to check him out. But you don’t have time to do that before you pass judgment on him.

Hey!! Look how fired up

I got you!!😉

That’s the energy and motivation we need our elected representatives to have every day!! They have been MIA about too many things in these past 9 months.

You just said/wrote everything I’ve been saying for this whole time that we’ve been trying OURSELVES to make the difference in this. Small measures like podcasts aren’t enough for this situation anymore. We must have a loud, strategic plan and so far… they’ve done almost nothing. He was on a program this morning talking about negotiating the reconciliation process when what should be done is ZERO NEGOTIATING unless it’s to bring back some of the essential services and dollars to pay for them.

I didn’t mean to imply that you don’t care or understand any of this, but… you mentioned his podcast like it’s a very important thing and frankly, it’s the bare minimum of what this time calls for right now.

I’m loud because I’m terrified that we are failing miserably in this situation and it feels like the party leaders are AWOL when we need them the most 👊🏼💙💜✌🏼

Believe me, you didn’t “get me fired up”. I’ve been fired up by the regime and what is happening to us. I’ve been saying this as well. Do you usually attack people who agree with you? To what end?

Kathryn's avatar

I don’t think you’ve understood what I’m saying. I’m not sure if I can make the point any clearer.

I did not attack your answer, I used sarcasm to say that a podcast is weak and ineffective when we are drowning out here. It’s long past time for podcasts, strongly worded letters, or “concerns” over our current situation.

In effect: your first answer was head scratching and your response in your second was exactly what I was trying to get across!! I’m sorry if you didn’t see that. Internet conversations are not the best way to convey our thoughts. Please💜✌🏼

Patel showed his immaturity today. Melting down on the stand and shouting childish insults at a senior senator is not a good look for America’s FBI director. Imagine how he treats his staff.
