An excellent strategy! Democratic leaders put boots on the ground in red state and red districts . Face-to-face personal contact with the voters. Do it now! Waiting till 2026 will be too late!

Unlike some Peter, I am a great believer in the capacity that human beings have to learn, to change, and to come to learn to love cute little animals like the one I have hanging on the backpack I rarely need. Therefore, I continue to have hope for the likes of you.

Despite Peter's total lack of eloquence or civil etiquette, likely due to the massive frustration we all feel, he does make a point of sorts.

It's fine that some folks choose to blanket red regions with information if that's their comfort level.

But I think his poorly communicated underlying thrust is that we need to stop bringing spoons to a gunfight, and more drastic resistance is needed under these extraordinary circumstances.

While I agree with your comments, I am glad that the Dems are getting off the couch or away from their desks to do more than just make long speeches in the House and complain at news reports. I had just about given up on the party. They need younger and more vibrant leaders instead of letting the old and stagnant stay around to basically waste taxpayers money. I do respect a person with a lot of experience but if they are not applying that experience then its a waste, or the idea's are out dated.

Reminder: These folks are looking for a sense of belonging that matches their world view, just like we are. Simple-minded as it is, there is no point in getting angry and belittling it since it is baked into their culture ... like wet is to fish. They simply cannot concieve of dry. Just walk away and find someone you can actually have a conversation with.

It's about time. This is the kind of campaigning and messaging that should be happening all the time. They should spread it out. They are representatives, so they should "represent." The more people actually see and are able to talk to their representatives the better informed everyone will be.

Also, just assuming that you have the votes and not going out and talking to even people who are in support is a missed opportunity. There are a slew of people who are not going to seek out the answers unless you come to them with the questions. And, everyone likes to have an outlet for their fears, frustration, anger, and any other emotion and having these town halls and rallies is that opportunity.

Please tell us the 35 districts on the "target list". My district went red by a hair in 2024 and I would like to show up at these events but I can't if I don't know where they will be and the mainstream media certainly won't tell me.

We need to take back our country!

I hope that they send the message that taking back our country starts from the ground up not from the top down. It's much like trickle down economics. Replacing people in Congress does not trickle down to replacing them in the communities where people talk to each other, where they actually "see" the changes in their day to day.

Change comes when we take back our city halls, our city planners, our Mayors, our Sheriffs, our DAs, our County commissioners, our school board, our water board, our planning board, our recreational board, our fire district boards, our utility boards, our state representatives, our state senators, our Governors, our Secretaries of State, our Treasurers, our Attorney's General, and all the other elected officials.

These local, county and state elected officials actually impact our daily lives in ways that we can see it, feel it, and live it. When we are able to regain these seats from the MAGAs, then we have a solid foundation to recover our democracy at the top. Otherwise, it will just be back and forth because while Congress is in DC, somebody is back home talking to their neighbors about what the Sheriff did, or what happened at the School Board meeting, or what the fire district board just did or whatever.

If you know someone who will run for office, support them. If that's you, then we support you!

I think it's great. They also need to wedge the Epstein files and FDJT's coverups to really rile up the base.

Yes, but go to all the red states and red counties across the nation and give hope to those who feel more hopeless surrounded by a sea of red because of where they happen to live. I'm live in a red county in a blue state 💙 and we need this brought to our neck of the woods too!

In Solidarity 👊

Bernie and AOC certainly proved the effbe doing things differently than the regime.ectiveness of Dems showing up on rethuglican tur They, however, are really good at setting the message and delivering it forcefully. What Dems should have been doing and desperately need to begin doing now is forming a 'Shadow Government' that keeps the electorate informed of what and how they'd do differently than the regime.
