I’m 70 years old this year, and remember very clearly getting my polio vaccination and others. My parents didn’t have a lot of money but they made sure we got all of the correct treatments to ensure we stayed healthy and didn’t pass on serious illness to our grandparent or school friends. This no-Health secretary should be ashamed.

I remember as a child having a neighbor who was a bit older than me whose life was forever impacted due to polio. The day-to-day challenges were heartbreaking. There's no sane reason we allow this debilitating disease to come back. It amazes me that people think that just because it happened in the past that it can't happen again.

I want the heroine addict out!! I’m 56 and can’t get the covid-19 update because he’s making anyone not 65 beg for a vaccine?? I can’t see my newborn grandchild because of this! Who the hell are they to choose life decisions for my family and such? I call senator Cassidy every day to try and push as hard as possible to remove him!!!

I'm so sorry you can't be with your newborn grandchild, but you bring up a salient point that would escape many people. You can't hold your grandchild, but it will also affect folks with compromised immune systems and those who care for them. That is a huge percentage of the population. It includes anyone undergoing cancer treatment or having a chronic health condition that requires taking immunosuppression drugs. My sister, who died from COVID, had rheumatoid arthritis that weakened her immune system. This policy will be a nightmare.

I absolutely am so very sorry for your loss 🥲 I have RA too and fibromyalgia and still have to beg for it, it’s going to hurt so many people that’s it’s unfathomable how bad it’s going to be a ripple effect far and wide. I will continue to call the senator and do my best to keep your sisters voice out there.

“They” are the assholes who refused to wear a mask and said that nobody “could tell them what to do” but they sure are all over telling the rest of us what to do!

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is considered dangerous because his persistent promotion of vaccine misinformation undermines one of the most important tools in modern medicine: trust in immunization and public health guidance. By continuing to claim that vaccines are linked to autism and other chronic conditions—despite decades of rigorous research disproving such connections—he spreads doubt among the public, leading some parents to delay or refuse critical childhood vaccines. This erosion of confidence has tangible consequences: declining vaccination rates have already been linked to outbreaks of measles, pertussis, and other diseases once under control in the United States. Beyond vaccines, his rhetoric often casts public health institutions and mainstream medicine as corrupt or untrustworthy, which can drive patients away from evidence-based care altogether. Physicians see this as particularly dangerous because mistrust is contagious; it not only affects individual decision-making but also jeopardizes community health by weakening herd immunity and eroding confidence in lifesaving interventions. In short, from the medical community’s perspective, Kennedy’s influence does not just represent free speech—it carries a real risk of harm to patients and the broader public.

RFK’s plan to do away with vaccines will effectively destroy our country.

We will be back , not in 1950, but in 1900.

Diseases long gone and conquered will emerge again.

Why would anyone ever want to tour or visit the US again?

People would have to show their vaccination records to enter other countries. Why would they want germ spreaders there who could infect babies not yet vaccinated.

How is it even possible that our country has flipped into a pariah from the calm, forward looking country that we had just months ago?

RFK Jr. needs to step down or be voted out by Congress.

Any in Congress who vote no or do nothing are complicit and compromised.

It feels like America lost a war, and the victors are making us suffer. The GOP is destroying education, public health, environmental protections, and civil rights. Trump is demanding that American history be rewritten, and no one is allowed to criticize him, especially comedians. Remember how hysterical SNL was with Chevy Chase falling down all the time, like Ford? Soon, we won't even be allowed to watch those old clips. They will disappear down the memory hole, just like in 1984.

As a 70 year old, I actually suffered through the mumps, measles and chickenpox as the vaccines were not yet available. I distinctly remember that I was very ill on each occasion. Everyone in the elementary school had the same experience. I do remember my polio vaccine being dispensed on a sugar cube. How can anyone trust this incompetent idiot? On the bright side, I just got my COVID-19 vaccine (Moderna) with no side effects. I live in Georgia and even though I fell within the eligibility parameters, I still had to have a script from my physician to get it. Just another ridiculous step to make it more difficult to get the vaccination.

I'm older than you are, and I also had all of those childhood diseases. I still have chickenpox scars. I contracted measles and mumps together, which led to meningitis when I was 7 years old. We were posted to India at the time, and there was no way to get me to a hospital. I was lucky to survive and can still remember people weeping in my room. Why would anyone risk their child's health? All they need to do to be convinced is to walk through an old cemetery and see how many children are buried before their parents.

We are living in the scariest, most deadly decade of my entire life. The so-called greatest nation on earth is unrecognizable, and a cost/benefit analysis of our healthcare system was poor before RFK Jr. and Trump. Today, healthcare is a lackluster, confusing circus of frustration.

How could any enemy of our nation do more harm to it than this administration is inflicting?

The goal of this administration is to make our population more vulnerable. When we are vulnerable, we become scared and weak, and easier to control. This is happening on several fronts. RFK, Oz, Kash Patel, the economic team, FEMA, the child in charge of counter terrorism. This administration wants misfortune, disease, catastrophe, hardship. We can't tolerate this.

I think RFKJr. has a obsession (?) with death and dead things. He is a falconer who takes his falcon out to kill small animals and bring them back to him. He picks up roadkill and puts it in his car. There was the bear cub and the whale head that we know of.

His children told us of the dead whale he saw on the beach. He took a chain saw and sawed it's head off, placed it on top of the van with all of them inside. Blood was dripping from the head down the windows.

His children and others have told us that he feeds his falcons by dropping live mice and baby chicks into a blender and turning it on. He encourages his kids and others to watch.

He gets pleasure from these things.

Is it a reach to believe that he might be enjoying having control of life and death of a whole country?

The problem is that there are idiots in the Senate who are trying to make the argument that the COVID vaccine wasn't tested, didn't work, and shouldn't be given. The sick part is that most of them are old enough to have lived through polio, measles and other epidemics. Evil me has a few thoughts about what should happen to their children, grandchildren, etc. and them. But I'm willing to bet they're all vaccinated.

It’s also amazing that they cannot see that we have had YEARS of administering COVID shots to literally billions of people. He claims there are complications and deaths from the shots, but doesn't have any data to show, and the complications he talks about happen from the disease itself…

Excellent point!

I noticed that we hear a lot of claims about horrible things happening, but very few instances of those things actually occurring.

Perhaps the best response to them is, “Name three”.

RFK Jr. and Trump have more blood on their hands than most serial killers and it’s only going to get worse unless they are stopped. They must be tried for crimes against humanity. America, once the strongest country in the world with the best scientists, medical research, technology and education is now not close to being in the top 20, in all categories.

I am a parent of 2 children that got all their recommendation vaccines. They are in their 30's. Now and survived because of that. I too got all mine too and I am almost 70 and still only had chicken pocs, mumps, and a mild case of measles in the 60's. My sister's family used to live in Florida and she says she is glad that she doesn't live there anymore. Her children are in their 50's and she agrees with me. RFK is a dangerous person. He needs to go!
