Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) originally planned to use his unlimited time to speak on the House floor for an hour, but after Republicans cut a backroom deal, Jeffries has held the floor for almost 7 hours.
Now this is a guy with some principles and truly does what he says he will do, which is fight for the people's interests!! That's his job! That's the job of ALL of them, clearly not all of them know it or espouse it.

I receive the standard for SNAP for Florida residents, $23 a month. Can you imagine what can be bought for $23? I now I'm even going to lose that. At least it helps with Milk and bread. I watched Jeffries from about 11 on. Prior to that I was channel surfing to see whose talking about what. Then I hit on USA Today. God Bless them.
