The House Freedom Caucus has introduced a resolution to strip Rep. Al Green of his committee assignments and Democrats are threatening to go to war to protect Green.
Agree. It's time that we see elected Dems stand for something and to fight for what's right. Except for Green himself, AOC, Crockett, and a few others, most Dems have been too busy begging for money to fight for us.
I agree! But it begs the question why aren’t they “going to war” for the rest of us to protect our democracy? I understand that there are numerous lawsuits that have been filed. The only problem with that is that Trump is the master of kicking the can down the road to wiggle out of lawsuits!
The gutless democrats are responsible for everything that’s happened to Green. Jeffries unwillingness to show courage by having every democrat representative stand up and protest in turn would have stopped Trump and Johnson in their tracks and would have shown America and the world we have the courage to fight.
We need new leadership in both the House and Senate, leaders with guts.
I think that stinks! Al Green responded to the censure in the well of the House and explained why he did it - to support his constituents and to object to the president calling Democrats "Lunatics." Al Green was right! If the Democrats do not go all out to support him, they might as well just give it up now. The republicans are disgusting.
Trump should have been censured for the language he used deriding various democrats including President Biden and others. Why didn’t democrats censure MJT for her outbursts at Biden’s State of the Union? Dems need to get organized and get tougher. We need someone like OAS or Crockett as leaders in the house.
Al Green deserves to keep his positions, all of them Congressional and Committees. Kick the arses of any that try this, Gooper's or 10 Dems. Lifetime Democrat and my Dad too.

Where are the Dems of yore--FDR's new deal Democrats--who fought to help the "little guys" and against the robber barons? We are waiting! I already feel so angry that 10 Democrats voted for the censure. When they walked Al Green out of the speech, every Democrat should’ve gotten up and walked out with him. As a forever Democrat, I expect them to go to war for Al Green.
