I had a hard time with him running for a second term at his age if for no other reason, he had a right to retire and relax, live his life for himself for a change. I would have voted for him, no doubt about it... but I struggled with the thought that he should drop out and give the younger generation the reins.
I am truly sorry he got hurt in all that happened. I'm sorry the toll it took on his friendships with others and the Bidens all felt they had to walk away.
