Trump will lose interest in โ€œgoverningโ€ once his initial grandstanding plays out and those that care get down to work on the realities of those plays for attention. Thank you Jamie for all that you do.

One can't lose what one has never had. Trump has never wanted to govern. All he's wanted ever was to be in the spotlight. He'd have been an actor if he wasn't so truly stupid. Acting takes discipline, intelligence and concentration which leaves T out. He has none of that. He has just himself which makes him most happy.

He barely made it through the campaign due to age and poor health and lifestyle. Ppl are so worried about him trying to run for a third term, but two years from now with the immense pressure and stress, I think it will be a moot point by then. ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ

I agree with Senator Raskin. However, I keep reading comments from democrats that read like this: "Democrats will continue to advance pragmatic policies to build on the strongest economy in decades created by Democratic policies..."

Hey, screw your pragmatic policies to build a strong economy! You stupid Democratic politicians need to get in there with the Congressional equivalent of a baseball bat and take it to the Republicans. Republican politicians are not going to play by the rules. Democrats have to start treating Republicans the same way Tony Soprano treated his enemies.

Absolutely and thatโ€™s where I think Democrats keep loosing the script. Playing nice and going high when they go low? It gets us nowhere. Congressional equivalent of a baseball bat indeed!!

Jamie Raskin is right on target! Heโ€™s a natural leader and one smart guy. Been through a lot with losing his son and health challenges. And because of all that heโ€™s at the top of his game. Support him in anyway you can, please. Ljs

In my book, Congressman Raskin is one of the very best and finest. He, along with Congressman Swalwell are bona fide, hardcore leaders. These next four years are going to be tedious and treacherous. Trump & Co. will seek to destroy our republic, turning it into an intellectual wasteland. They want our country to be their playground where they can play recklessly with full disregard for the people. Theirs is not a motivation to build. Theirs is a motivation to destroy.

You just said a mouthful. MAGA congresspeople have to wrap themselves in knots and pretzels to tell us what we saw, or what the felon meant. With truth and facts, pretty easy to get a point across. Jamie and the house Dems are brilliant at presenting facts and disputing lies. And making maga look foolish๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

NOT while we put up a United pushback against the Liar in Chief and get his unconstitutional BS thrown OUT in court challenges! democrats will take BACK the House majority with the 3 special elections shortly, then Dipshit Don will get zero bills passed! Itโ€™s called lame duck, and your duck is cooked, Felon Trump!

Thanks to Rep.Raskin for challenging Trump's lies. Given what we have recently seen indicating the short or non existent memories of millions of voters, it is imperative that the Fascist in Chief be slapped each and every time he spews his hate and dishonesty. The Democrats in government should hold a press conference after each Trump lie in order to call him out and set the record straight.....whatever it takes..

Whats gonna happen when the crime rate goes up? He pardons these criminals so they can go out and commit more and get away with it ? Iโ€™m really scared for this country more than Iโ€™ve ever been. How is gonna b stopped the Supreme Courtโ€™s gave him a path way to commit and do what ever he wants. Plus Mr Garland couldโ€™ve coughed up those papers a lot sooner as well. But I do put most the blame on the Supreme Court cuz they didnโ€™t have to rule on this. Guess they all kissed the dome as well. I just wonder what they wouldโ€™ve done if Kamala had sent the votes back to the states just like JD Vance said he wouldโ€™ve. How many states do u think wouldโ€™ve change their minds? Or challenged some of those states. Cuz he sis that Elon rigged the election for him In Pennsylvania. He said it clear as day in his speech while talking about the Olympics. How about election interference just like he would call out. This is a disgrace on America and dark days to come. Elon Musk isnโ€™t even a US citizen. Y isnโ€™t he being sent back with that mass deportation? Sorry for the rant Iโ€™m just really scared for this country right now

The illness that is Donald Trump imagines everyone lying down for his โ€˜fatโ€™ bulldozer. Police are not going to โ€˜ignoreโ€™ their responsibilities โ€˜becauseโ€™ the felon pardoned his โ€˜felonโ€™ tribe of hardcore bullies. Republican Senators are going to have to grow a โ€˜pairโ€™ if they donโ€™t want that tiny support that MAGAs hold to be threatening THEM at home.

Those Republican senators who are still in office now won't do anything more than keep kissing T's ring. Some will be up for re-election in 2 years. Are the Democrats going to show up for the primary to vote them out of office and vote in a liberal? We all better hope so.

Cheers to Jamie Raskin. More Democrats need to Bellow out their concerns. If they donโ€™t raise their voices, we could be in deep trouble. It is only by acknowledging the pitfalls of the hateful actions by Trump that we might see some progress. If Democrats donโ€™t raise their voices, then we are hung out to dry. Yes the little guy can voice discontent, but we are not in Congress. We can only let our Congress know how unhappy we are with these forced choices.

Trump's radical agenda is not without purpose. Everything he is doing or trying to do is in an effort to crown himself king forever. What's really sad is the way our MSM reporters are treating him like royalty, afraid to mention the facts, i.e., he has no mandate, and the fact that he's building his oligarchy before our very eyes. We (voters) seem to have thrown up our hands because so few who have the power to take him down won't even try. I'm very discouraged that so many Americans chose to not even watch or listen to the man who is going to determine our way of life from yesterday until his reign ends hopefully in 4 years unless he manages to become the next Putin.
