So true. Whenever I picture the snake that appeared to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, his face is that of Mike Johnson. The devil is not an ugly horned creature. He is a slick, smooth talking, con man.

And such a complete liar. You know that when it adds to the deficit he’ll blame it on Biden. Never their fault for pandering to diaper Donny.

He’s the waste fraud and abuse!!! My mother in law can’t take care of herself anymore and is in a nursing home that Medicaid pays for!!! It will shut down it’s in rural Wisconsin not to mention we need to be all over him saying he’d go to any town hall anywhere that’s funny 😄 since he refuses to do one in his own district!!! We must put pressure on him to do it!

Here in Montana, elders who COULD NOT work were left standing in line, trying to find out their Medicaid had been suddenly ( and, as was discovered over half a year later, for most, MISTAKENLY!-) cut off. That’s the Republican way: cut off life-dependent benefits FIRST - then check for mistakes in their paperwork. I have mine back — with apologies — but it took me nearly six months. No way I could “work.” NOW, will someone tell me how these billionaires would be harmed by being given less money? Maybe their payouts to congressmen would be reduced?? This money should go to reduce medical need, not punish people.

I want to add, IN NO WAY were these lines and endless phone delays the fault of Montana’s workers in the Dept. of Health and Human Services. These people were swamped, but remained on the job, dealing with frustrated & desperate clients. The crises were CREATED by politicians, with the governor’s approval, who decided Montana’s Dept. of H& HS needed to be “supplemented”( replaced?) by a bunch of new hires, out of state “specialists” who could show our experienced workers how to cut costs by getting rid of people who (they asserted) probably didn’t “qualify” for the help they’d been receiving. The plan was: 1st cut costs, notify a bunch of unprepared Montanans that their Medicaid was terminated, as of the month’s end, in many cases- unless they could jump through enough hoops, produce medical & financial documents, to prove their worthiness -AGAIN. Sound familiar? The point is, the new hires (whom we got to pay for)knew nothing of the situation in Montana, and therefore based their decisions on tons of errors, which clients and overworked caseworkers were left to unravel and disprove - over a period of many months, where clients were unable to afford medications their lives, and health, depended on. Do you run a business? Do errors ever crop up? Probably so. But the answer isn’t to cut your best workers loose and deny clients the services they need. What’s happening at the State and Federal levels reminds me how, when the victorious Russian Bolsheviks couldn’t find any loyal Russian troops willing to assassinate the Tsar & his family, they finally brought in outside mercenaries to do the job, without flinching - after all, they didn’t even speak the language, so calls for mercy fell on deaf ears. Elon’s DOGE Boys are untroubled by compassion, OR knowledge.

They want us to get frustrated and give up, but this isn't something you can give up if it's keeping you alive. And many, if not most, have a spouse in the same position.

Very sad that Montana voted for the 🍊💩(58.4%), Repug gov, senator, 2 congess members sooo you got exactly what your state voted for and wanted because he said what he was going to do at every rally. Did you only think he was going to hurt ‘others’ but not you? Such a solid red state. Voting has consequences.

Medicaid fraud is predominantly provider fraud. Billing for services not performed, etc. is the big $ loss in Medicaid. Every state has an inspector general or equivalent in the Medicaid agency to pursue fraud and they do a good job. The regime's claims of massive member fraud are outright lies.

The way Johnson and the GOP lie is malicious and fraud. The way they harm the working public and refer to harm as “big and beautiful” is malignant and repugnant. It makes me think of a molester’s tactics of gas lighting.

You are 100% right when you use the term "gaslighting" - making us believe that we are nuts because we see something one way (reality) and the gaslighter says "oh no no, it's not that at all, you clearly don't understand what's happening". When something is called *Big and Beautiful* - coming out of Trump's mouth and every boot licking sycophant in his administration - it means harmful to all, devastating to our pocketbooks, our health, and our lives.

The video did NOT crush Johnson. Misleading headline! The lies just rolled out smoothly, and anyone not deeply understanding what’s really happening could easily believe what he’s saying. Most of the people I meet in various places around my state are totally oblivious to the current state of affairs - not interested in politics, and don’t really care. Until something big crashes their daily lives they don’t want to know, but by then it will be too late. I feel like I’m in the twilight zone.

Why. They need to go plain and simple. There should be no room on this country for the kind of bs. Is plain and simple. Stealing from the poor to give to the rich has always been the playbook. Teaching people to fear those different from them. Also the play book. Is a gross misinterpretation of everything they claim to stand for. Makes me sick

They don’t count full time university work as work, so he’s saying that a person studying for a degree for 40-50 hours a week also has to work 20 hours a week to get healthcare so they can, I don’t know, study and work? When do they expect people to rest? They don’t. They make disabled people feel like trick ponies while they pay people to do their work so they can do drugs, cheat on their wives, suck up donor money, watch Faux News, and play video games.

Mr. Speaker, You should know better than to continue these lies. The American people are not illiterate nor stupid. You can repeat that line until you are blue in the face, but all you are going to do is erode whatever trust the people have with your party. Your political career will end in ignominious destruction. Your grand children will read about your failures in their history books. Assuming that they will allowed to be educated at all.
