The western swing of the Fighting Oligarchy tour contains new guests and speakers as 51,000 people have RSVPed to see Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
The goal seems to be to flip the House, and there are less than two dozen swing districts. Going to every state would mean going to a lot of places where there aren't seats up for grabs, and that probably isn't the best use of time and resources. That being said, the tour still hasn't come east or visited the south yet, so there are probably a dozen or more dates to come. There are also a few swing districts in California that Sanders could visit too.---Jason

Your understanding of the low poll numbers for democrats seems limited. It’s not because we think what republicans are doing is okay. It’s because the dems aren’t doing enough! Don’t seem to be fighting hard enough against Trump & Musk abolishing the programs we’ve already paid for (wasting $), stealing our own personal Social Security benefits by nefarious means, stripping Medicaid of funds, taking food from the hungry, dissing our friends and loving on our enemies etc. They are basically just breaking everything! All for tax breaks for the very wealthy. They have no shame; and the dems aren’t doing enough to protect us from the president’s whims and Project 2025s implementation. Chuck Schumer’s (and others) voting ‘yes’ on the CR only helped compel the downward slide.
So to restate: Fresh faces & messaging , Governor’s of Pa & Ky do a good job. We don’t need others who just turn people off cuz too far left & go too far left on fringe issues that turn people off. For many it is just too far off the beaten path. We need people who can consistently carry the message across all states. This is what I took away from your note. If correct, it makes sense for a strategy and one we need to implement now.
We need solid candidates as we move forward. We need to find more who are willing to do this hard work. I think we need to give Bernie & AOC credit in standing up to bring that message across the country. To your point we need others to show a side of the Democratic party that isn’t as far left. We need strong voices to makes sense to a large audience that wears many different hats. My thoughts. It doesn’t mean I won’t keep standing up to what is happening. Thanks for clarifying.

I think it’s great and they need to expand it to all around the country! Bernie and AOC, Chris Murphy should join Jasmine Crocket, etc! We need energy and we need truth…not sugarcoated! Our judiciary has failed and our democracy is falling!
The people see what is happening! They want leaders to speak up for working people. The criminals attempting this coup must be stopped. Action is required before it is too late. Let people from all walks of life join together. In Unity, there is Strength!

Sanders is awakening the misinformed in an heroic effort to bring all of us together in a common fight against Oligarchs who are driving Trump and project 2025 for their own power. I support his efforts and all who join him in telling the truth during this constitutional crisis.
