I agree with everything Pete stated. I believe Trump is pure evil.

"Never ascribe to evil what can be explained by stupidity." But in his case, it's evil stupidity.

This is one of the best descriptions I have read, thank you.

I agree with you. There is something very evil about him, he is definitely a full blown NARCISSIST who has absolutely no compassion for anyone but himself and what he has for himself overflows! He cannot handle the slightest bit of criticism or he goes ballistic and into a rage! However it’s not a problem for to criticize any one else for the tiniest thing. He’s the worst person in the world as Keith Obermann used to say!

Susan's avatar

I’ve been saying this from the beginning, that he’s evil. If he’s not the Antichrist then Elon Musk is.

Chahagen's avatar

All in good time. He’s actually running for senate this year😉

Buttigieg/Crockett ‘28!

Mayor Pete’s command of the facts and the English language are both refreshing additions to the loutish spoutings

of our incompetent man-child in the guise of president…

I agree with Secretary Buttigieg! The dotard has a history of blaming others for anything that he feels would reflect badly on him and takes credit (whether or not he had anything to do with it) for anything he perceives as making him (the dotard) look good. dTrumf is such a pathetic excuse for a man let alone a leader. I hope Buttigieg stays active in politics. I’d LOVE to see him as our president, sooner than later!

Frances Rice's avatar

I have always thought Pete should have won the Presidential race.Too bad we have to wait 4 years.

Marjorie's avatar

Actually he's even a poor excuse for a human. He's more like a jackal. What will happen when buyers remorse actually sets in deeply?

Annette Tchelka's avatar

I'm hoping we get a big blue wave in the mid-terms which we frankly should have had in 2024. Harris was by far the better candidate.

I'm currently volunteering with an election reform group so that we can be assured that our election in 2026 is transparent, safe and fair. ALL of our voices need to be heard! Our right to vote is Sacred, and I intend to do everything in my power to keep our right solid!

Marsha Sherman's avatar

I'm praying that anyone opposed to Trump, regardless of party, makes sure to vote for democrats in the next primary. It's the only way we are going to stop this man from committing even more evil than he already has.

virginia arthur's avatar

I would love for Pete Buttigieg to be our president one day soon. He is the right man for the job.

Anita's avatar

He is more qualified than anyone I can think of. What a pleasure it would be to have such an intelligent and well spoken person as POTUS.

virginia arthur's avatar

Yes. He could win in a landslide I believe. He is a veteran, married with children, no scandals, a fantastic speaker, and very well educated.

Susan Gessford's avatar

You forget that he's gay and a classical pianist. The red state morons will fall for whatever crap the GOP tries to pile on him.

That said, the rumor here in MI is that he plans to run for Governor. I so hope that's true! THEN he and Gretchen can team up for POTUS.

.

virginia arthur's avatar

No, I did not forget that he is gay. His sexuality should not enter into his qualifications. I did not know that he is a classical pianist. That would be fantastic it he ran for Governor. Yes, he and Governor Whitmer would make an awesome ticket in 2028. Who would be the presidential candidate? We have had two extremely well qualified women run for president. They have both lost. I don’t think that this backward country of ours would be anymore ready for a female president in 2028 than it was in 2024. It is not fair, but that is how it is right now. I voted for both Hillary and Kamala.

Well said and accurate!

Amen to that sister!!!

He will never take responsibility for anything that goes wrong under his watch. He never took responsibility for all the people who died because of his flawed decisions about Covid. We had a better administration the last four years and many things were better for this country. Now his regime is in power and it’s already started to fall apart. Keep calling him out on his nonsense. Put the blame where it should be.

Punkette's avatar

Spot on, Priscilla. Lest we forget: ETTD (Everything Trump Touches Dies).

Connie S's avatar

It was honest and he called out the current president for his lies.

Judy Linton's avatar

This needs to happen more often to prevent the lie from turning into perceived truths.

John Brodemus's avatar

The certification standards were not lowered during the Obama/Biden era.

Marjorie's avatar

Of course not. Just more of the jackal's lies.

MUSA💙💙💙USAM's avatar

So glad Buttigieg was at the helm with Biden making our skies and country safer from the likes of the orange blister and his cretins. The orange blister removed the heads of those that keep our skies safe, WTF did he think would happen. Muck like when he reversed the sale of AR15’s allowing the MF’s to gun down our children -so f’ing sick of this jerk.

Terry Trueman's avatar

Buttigieg has always been and still is great! If Trump's lips are moving he's lying & projecting. He's the sickest fuck you can possibly imagine!

bruce beckman's avatar

Superb. This is Trumps problem. Leadership is not playing blame game , bellyaching about need to be done or casting rocks at a leader who has not served to decade. Leadership accepts the hand that’s been dealt and moves on.

Donald Trump again demonstrate why he shouldn’t be in The White House

Marjorie's avatar

#felon47trump Should not even be on the planet. I think he should be the first one on the first rocket to Mars.He can plant the flag and just stay there with it.

virginia arthur's avatar

He should be in prison! I hope that we will get to see that one day.

KaOgil's avatar

I'd prefer a casket, but jail would be fun too.

bruce beckman's avatar

Sadly, that ship has sailed. We’ll be I. Hail before him.

virginia arthur's avatar

He can’t run after these four years. He can still be tried. He was not given immunity for the insurrection.

Gary Geesman's avatar

I agree with Pete. Distraction, Deflection, and Blame are trump’s weapons of choice. He needs to be called out at every opportunity.

Linda Maldonado's avatar

You are the only one with common sense. Keep speaking out even when other dems won’t.

I listen to MSNBC on Sirius in my car. I turned it on this morning and Trump was droning away on that singsong monotone about how Obama and Biden had lowered aviation safety standards and that on his watch everything was fixed. I knew this was a damn lie. I had an extended music lesson. When I got back in my car, Tim Kaine was speaking about how despicable this was of Trump, and that on zero evidence he was trying to blame the accident on DEI. I was so relieved that someone else heard him and cared. How can anyone see this Thing as a leader?

Teresa D. Hawkes, Ph.D.'s avatar

I do agree this interpretation makes more sense than Trump's intuition. Most cognitive scientists know intuition, the activity of emotions, is strongly affected by cognitive biases. In this case, Mr. Trump distrusts and casts all blame on the Democrats. It has to be their fault. This is how the Abrahamic Tradition (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) cast all blame for all on Women in their Genesis statements. This is a long tradition in the west: deflect blame, take all glory.
