They have every reason to worry. They are being led by a criminal.

And like criminals, Chumpy and the rest of them will go down like criminals! WE WILL MAKE SURE OF THAT! Chumpy is already in hot water over that mass deportation of Venezuelans.

And all this illegal stuff needs to auto

The Republicans should worry because the tide is going to change and soon! Evil never wins, it gives tough moments, but loses in the shuffle.

Julie-Bud3000's avatar

Amen! And even if evil wins battles, it seldom wins the war. Even if evil is unpunished in this life, it always is in the hereafter!

I think the difference between us and the people in Hungary, for example, is that we will resist more

We need to win BIG in these special elections. We have to show Trump he did not have a mandate, and he can't cut the citizens out. Money helps in a campaign, but votes are what gets the job done. Get out the vote, and keep talking it up. Find someone who needs a ride and take them with you.

I'm happy to see all of these Democratic Party town halls in deep red areas, where they can reach GOP voters and even educate them. We need to reach out to each other because what Chumpy and Musky want to do will hurt everyone who isn't a 1 Percenter.

I agree! More meetings are needed in red states! Voters need to canvas door to door now to get out the vote for 2026.

Good to see the Democrats coming on strong.

Oh please, time to feel an earthquake! Certainly will energize all the spirited people in the crowds around ALL the States, even here in Boise, Idaho. State republican legislators and Senators Risch and Crapo… Representative Simpson and Fulcher…OMG! HELP, we are in the streets! 🔥☄️🔥

I don’t want to make Republicans concerned about this or any other election. I want them to continue to believe that they are invincible—at least until they lose big time. Now THAT I want to be able to experience and enjoy.

we need the hope

We just need to get a for in the door

So far, it’s just money. Show me the votes! If the shrink the margin by a significant amount, wake me up!

I don't know if winning is a serious option. These are districts that are traditionally red and go big for Trump. In the year before previous incumbent party midterm defeats, the margin that the incumbent party won by even in strongholds, dropped significantly. If you are looking for a 2026 barometer, that could be it.---Jason

Right now, districts like this are probably still pro-Trump. He hasn’t killed their Medicare, Medicaid or Social Security - yet! He has brutally deported people they probably hate. He has attacked academics and lawyers and judges. I’ll bet districts like that love it. Until they become the targets. We aren’t there - yet!

I lived in districts that didn’t support the likes of Trump by 30 points, and I know the mindset. It’s fascism light. Call me an elitist, but I don’t think any reasonable Democrat stands a chance. It’s a different culture and country. Might as well be Afghanistan! Sorry, it’s the truth.

Even if many Florida districts aren't won, it's still not too late. There are midterms!

No offence meant. However, when you read that the, possible, outcome of an election depends upon the amount of millions of $s raised, especially, when you think of Musk, et al, I almost get close to despair. Of course, even here (UK) money talks. But the actual levels of cash, in US elections is abhorrent, ridiculous, and almost amounts to "Monopoly" money level corruption. I'm not naive, merely astounded.

Linda Cocuzzi Richter's avatar

Funny you are commenting about the money, my Substack piece today was how sick I am of musk's obscene donations

Hopefully the people of Florida are starting to see the actual light on the person they voted for in November. Remember a lot of residents are retired and many depend on their social security as not all are able to sustain their existence on their savings and pensions alone. Maybe the sun hasn't baked the majority of brains in the land of sunshine.

And if any Democrat loses any race, they better stand up in fight for and demand hand count immediately.

Elsie W's avatar

Yes, every vote should be recounted by hand. I don’t trust Musk not to help trump with starlink.

sue hatton's avatar

this is a heavily gerrymandered district for the republicans so it's great to see the dems making inroads. donate to josh and maybe we can pull off a HUGE victory!!

Dana Ciolfi's avatar

I’ll pray every day that the Dems take both elections in FL. If the state of this country now isn’t enough to bring its citizens to their senses, even if it’s just to be concerned of their own self interest, I don’t know what ever will.

Linda Cocuzzi Richter's avatar

I think they vote for the replacements for Gaetz and Waltz tomorrow. Don't they?

Cindy K's avatar

Let's go! Bring on the damn earthquake!

Demomorats need to advertise what this republican is actually up to...watch what he does not what he says. Republicans want your social security.
