It's the right thing to do. The Republicans need to own this one. Remember, Trump repeatedly lied to the American people saying he knew nothing about Project 2025. Shows he is a first class liar and con artist - as if half the country didn't already know.

I’d say he’s a lying sack of shit. But that’s not fair to sacks of shit.

Well said TLE. Now the other half need to come to their senses. Call me crazy but I seriously doubt that #47 will ever subscribe to the principle “honesty is the best policy”.

Be prepared for 4 years of bafflegab, half truths, outright lies and a whole lot of bullying. For those who cannot bother to educate themselves as to the extent of depravity now unfolding, just look at the photos of those in “the front row” at Trump’s inauguration. It is a veritable video of “America’s richest” and wealthiest. This billionaires’ club was not there to bolster America’s (vanishing) democracy. Plunder is their watchword. It has been a very, very long 10 days since noon, January 20th. Unless we all summon our strength, courage and conviction to oppose the unfolding tsunami we will have nothing to pass on to the next generations.

We are fortunate to have Merkley and Wyden. And for my district in Salem, that Salinas was re-elected.

Both of mine are democrats. I am in Colorado. However. My state representative is Republican and I left a message and I said you better not have any support to MAGA. I will make sure to help you not get elected!

I left a message for my CO Repub also. I told him Trump was taking the power of the purse away from Congress and he should not allow that. Also, "HANDS OFF MY SOCIAL SECURITY, ELON."

It’s about time the “when they go low, we go high mantra is replaced with an actual spine! None of these nominees are serious choices and should all be rejected by democrats.

We can still go "high" with a spine and active resistance and pro-active measures. We can continue to go "high" spreading Truth to the American people and the world. We have no need to lower ourselves to lies, misinformation, and cheating....💙🌊

Hell yes! It’s about time our elected Dems start realizing there are not 2 reasonable parties any more. There is no negotiating with terrorists - and make no mistake, what they are doing now is trying to terrorize the country. There are currently no good republicans that I can see. Not one has spoken out in a meaningful way. Not one. We on the ground can resist all we can, but if the Dems are going to aid this criminal administration by trying to find “middle ground” then what’s the point of anything We The People do? I am all in favor of resisting and obstructing and forcing the republicans and this administration to own all their dastardly deeds.
