She’s lost her credibility as a journalist and we have to get louder about it

Right?! Yeah, he said he would impose tariffs! But, he also told them that the countries the tariffs are imposed on would be paying the tariffs and would not affect them! He’s said many things and it’s all BS!

Schumer needs to push back much much harder.

Schumer is great at what he does and will leave quite a legacy! But, he is just not the kind of leader we need for this fight! I don’t think Schumer is capable of showing real anger or playing dirty. Im not sure he understands the depth of what is happening and that this IS life or death for people! He’s a great leader, but, he needs to step aside for this fight!

Many more of the Democrats need to become Fierce and engage in battle. The Republicans get down and dirty, the Democrats need to step up their game.

I completely agree 👍🏻 🌹

Corporate media is trying to push division in the Democratic Party.

I’ve noticed that too…🌹

Most corporate media treated Trump as a regular politician. They refuse to acknowledge his desire to be a dictator and all the illegal, horrifying things he has been doing to our govt. Ok, corporate media: grow a pair and start with honest journalism, which you’ve mostly avoided doing so far. You are part of the big problem we have.

I saw her do the same thing last week. Her poker face is the clue. In her new environment she could lose her job. I think publicly quitting on air is her best option. I am sure the "watchers" at the studio would cut her off quickly. She could write a book! What a demoralizing way to end her career by caving.

Many are switching from mainstream media to independent outlets on substack. Try Meidas podcast, Joy Reid, Steady (Dan Rather) and more. Jim Acosta. Hopefully, Rachel Maddow will continue somewhere when her contract with MSNBC winds up in the near future.

Aaron Parnas, Lev Parnas, too.

I second this comment . Look for the real journalists, they aren’t on MSM anymore.

CNN sold their souls . Dana Bash has sold out - does anyone who has watched CNN for years believe she is comfortable with making such statements. Sounded like she was on “Faux News”.

If she had courage she would leave like Jim Acosta did . Unless she really has changed her views ???? I thought she had a kind heart and empathy for all people.

Thanks Dana and CNN for helping doing your part for destroying Democracy.

I will never watch CNN again . Thank God for independent media.

We are so disgusted with mainstream media we stopped watching CBS, ABC and NBC, and he day after the election. We do not even watch local news because they are biased. We only click on Rachael Maddow or Lawrence O'Donnell YouTube. Subscribe to MeidasTouch and Democracy Docket.

Same here “traditional” news outlets are complicit in ushering in the end of democracy.

Where is our Walter Cronkite these days? They are either wimps or being threatened in some way - just like Republican congress people or senators.

The fearless Lawrence O’Donnell comes closest for me. My parents always watched Cronkite and Huntley-Brinkley when I was a kid.

Meidas+ do an amazing job. And Aaron Parnus.

I believe Aaron Parnas and Meidas are a good choice.

When are we going to start talking about “conservative media bias”?

Mainstream media is so bad & worried about Cockwomble suing them for anything that it just makes me sick

CNN lost us when they gave T***p a free campaign ad softball "town hall" meeting with Caitlin, and MSNBC when they fired April. The only reason we still watch is for Rachel. We subscribe to Meidas, Politicus and other sub stacks who are the only ones telling the truth about the chaos Dumpster has created. We need to go farther than to say "tariffs are taxes" and explain it in a way that the average Republinazi can understand. Here's how tariffs work: Target pays a factory in China $10 for a kids bathing suit, then marks it up to $20 to make their profit. With a 100% tariff, Target gives the Gov another $10 to fatten the US treasury, then has to charge the customer $30. So Voila! the customer is paying a veiled sales tax of $10. Dumpster even stated that he loves stupid people.

Hacks like bash and main stream apologists consigned the constitution to the flames for ratings. Playing ignorant or acting astonished when the mad king does mad shit over and over. Again it makes ratings and clicks.

Use Meidas+ for news now. On Youtube, substack and social.

I will never watch Bash again - can't get the truth there !!

The fact is that corporate media was tested by Trump and found to be vulnerable. Their organization is such that they cannot take a stand. For example, the owners of MSNBC, thorugh a cascade of companies, need access to federal agencies to complete a potential sale of the channel. Like selling a house they are painting the walls a neutral color and removing all elements that might be objectionable to potential buyers. One can only wonder how a new billionaire owner such as Musk would "redecorate" the channel. Run, run as fast as you can from corporate media - it is dead and when redecoration (resurection) is complete is more likely to become deadly to the truth than not. Make any future investments of your time where they can provide a return on your intellectual and political efforts. To put it in terms all can understand - stop farting into the wind.

Well said: So true,

but this media indifference (and blowback) to vital issues has been going on for decades. Just compare the paltry media coverage of the hundreds of organized protests against going to war involving millions of people leading up to the 2003 Iraq attack with the extensive media coverage of the anti-Vietnam war protests in the 70s, especially after Kent state. That’s one reason Substack is becoming a thinking persons major source of news coverage
