They ruled that Biden couldn’t forgive some student loans, and he actually had a law that provided some power to do that. Trump has no law that allows him to seize this power from Congress.

So, of course the bond market is doing well. While none of us like interest rates to go up on other things, like homes, cars, credit cards, etc., there is a benefit to people who have a little bit of savings. When interest rates are cut to zero so that big corps can borrow money for nothing, we, the attempted savers get like 0.01% return on our money in banks and credit unions. When the fed raises rates, we get rates like 5% on our attempted savings. It's a big rip off no matter how you look at it.
