I grew up overseas as a State Department brat, and my parents took voting very seriously, although they never discussed party affiliation. I never heard any discussion of politics, even with their American friends who were also in the foreign service. They felt it would be inappropriate since presidents would change but they represented America, not a president. Not just the military, but many Americans live overseas & maintain their residency in the States. How dare he disenfranchise them?
My parents were so serious about keeping politics private before my dad retired. We came back to the States for my senior year because my dad was posted to the Embassy in Saigon. In my Civics class, we were going to have a mock election & she told my teacher that I couldn't participate because of my dad. Of course, I was mortified but that's the way it used to be. I was a dependent, and that meant I had to live by different rules. Whenever I complained about it, they reminded me that I also had amazing experiences that other kids would never have, so it was a small price to pay. They were right.
The republicans have always been the party of money and power they have never been the party of family values. What they’re doing now is what they’ve always wanted to do, they don’t want anyone to vote no matter where they are or how they do it.

I think or actually believe that this man needs to be removed from office as well as the VP, and the Speaker of the House, & this needs to occur ASAP. We need a new president and a new Cabinet of actual honest, law abiding professionals who want to keep a democratic Republic. The craziness going on in this country is astounding!
