I grew up overseas as a State Department brat, and my parents took voting very seriously, although they never discussed party affiliation. I never heard any discussion of politics, even with their American friends who were also in the foreign service. They felt it would be inappropriate since presidents would change but they represented America, not a president. Not just the military, but many Americans live overseas & maintain their residency in the States. How dare he disenfranchise them?
My parents were so serious about keeping politics private before my dad retired. We came back to the States for my senior year because my dad was posted to the Embassy in Saigon. In my Civics class, we were going to have a mock election & she told my teacher that I couldn't participate because of my dad. Of course, I was mortified but that's the way it used to be. I was a dependent, and that meant I had to live by different rules. Whenever I complained about it, they reminded me that I also had amazing experiences that other kids would never have, so it was a small price to pay. They were right.

Ukraine is not going to hand over more land to Russia. The Ukrainians do not want to give up their soveriegn country and they shouldn't have to. The whole, "you can't join NATO" thing is also problematic. If the European Union allows Ukraine to join them, then that is also a problem.

I think or actually believe that this man needs to be removed from office as well as the VP, and the Speaker of the House, & this needs to occur ASAP. We need a new president and a new Cabinet of actual honest, law abiding professionals who want to keep a democratic Republic. The craziness going on in this country is astounding! Trump embarrasses himself and the entire country every time he opens his mouth. Why does he think that we should change our system of voting? So he can remain President? He can’t. We have to abide by the Constitution, whether he likes it or not! SCOTUS helped to create this monster so we need to fix that part of our government. What a freaking mess!
