Alabama is one of the biggest Trump supporting states in the country, but food banks are warning of shortages if Republicans cut food aid to pay for tax cuts for the rich.
I agree it is sad that Alabama children are going to go hungry because their ignorant and brain-washed parents voted for drumpf and his gang of goons. The problem with that sadness is that it extends to every state in the Union. There is not a single state that does not have at least one food bank. There is not a state that does not get SNAP funds to help support farmers, who now won't have anyone to pick crops that they can no longer sell to food banks. There is not a single state where there will be no 'hungry children.'
So while I grieve for the children of Alabama, I also grieve for the children in all the other 49 states that the Alabama adults voted drumpf into office so he could starve us all. Maybe being hungry will wake them up. Maybe be hungry will put their sorry asses out in the fields picking crops and in the meat packing plants where there are no longer migrant workers. That's what drumpf wants. He wants all the people who are left to do all the low paying, hard labor jobs for even lower pay so that he and his cronies can make even more money.
Oh, and just to put a cherry on the non-existent cake Alabama won't be eating, if you do get a drumpf phone, realize that every call you make, every text you send, everything you search for on your new gold drumpf MAGA phone will be owned by drumpf and his sons. You all truly will have stepped into the vortex and will be owned by drumpf. Hope you have fun with that...
I think that some of them honestly view children as a commodity that can be replaced. I’m not entirely unsure that that isn’t what the whole “we need more white women to have babies” is all about.

Yes, that is correct, though I worked for years in a food bank in a poorer blue state. Food insecurity was very high in the counties we served, which were mostly rural. We did receive private donations, but our federal funding (especially the purchasing program with local farmers) was essential to keep the doors open.
