Oh, Denise, it’s always the same. There may be a slight delay while they cut Medicaid more to satisfy the deficit hawks in the committee. Then it will go to the floor for a vote. More representatives will complain and Trump will call them personally to make them feel warm and fuzzy. Then they will vote for it with the additional Medicaid cuts.
Why do these Senators and congresspeople disclose how they will vote. They just give up their power unless, it’s their way of putting their hands out for a bribe. Why expose yourself to Trumps harassment? Why not let him sweat it out until the end. We need totally NEW leadership.
I hope it goes down! So many people will be hurt if it doesn't! And if it does pass so many Congressmen will lose their seats! Democrats and those affected have to keep up the protests and phone calls!
It would be wonderful if the reactionary right wing yahoos in the House could stick to their guns (i’m sure they have plenty of those) and torpedo this abominable bill. The meanness and immorality besides, these Freedom Caucus bros demand fiscal responsibility. This bill is light years from responsible. If you don’t care about further impoverishing the poor, demand that the nation’s balance sheet be protected.
Americans don’t want to help Trump’s peers. We need relief for the children and parents, seniors and disabled. This is BS and I hope it sinks like a rock. If it flies, we need to shake up the senate and congress.
