Rush Limbaugh Blows a Gasket and Hallucinates An Obama Crime Over the ACA

The Republican Party is spiraling out of control, and now Rush Limbaugh is hallucinating crimes being committed by President Obama in support of the ACA.

RUSH LIMBAUGH: Americans are losing coverage by political design. Yeah, in fact, the White House knew out there that 93 million Americans were gonna lose their policy. Richard Nixon resigned over a lie nowhere near this big. And you know the hell of it is that Obama doesn’t think he lied. I don’t think Obama, in his mind, is capable of lying. Whatever is necessary to say or do to advance the agenda is what is morally correct. Doesn’t matter. He doesn’t care. He doesn’t think he lied.

In other words, Obama and the Democrats have been telling us that employer plans would never be affected at all by Obamacare. And it was a huge lie. The administration has known it was a lie since 2010, maybe earlier. That’s when it was put in the Federal Register, which, the Federal Register, think of it as the federal government’s diary. It’s a compendium of what happens in the federal government. “Lisa Myers and Hanna Rappleye of NBC News, unearthed the aforementioned commentary in the Federal Register, and cited ‘four sources deeply involved in the Affordable Care Act’ as saying that ’50 to 75 percent’ of people who buy coverage on their own are likely to receive cancellation notices due to Obamacare.”

The bottom line is that Obama, the regime knew that 93 million Americans would be unable to keep their health care plans under Obamacare. Cookie, I need the montage. I’m gonna need this montage every day, this montage of Obama promising you can keep your plan, promising you can keep your doctor. Folks, Richard Nixon resigned over a lie that was much less damaging in scope than this one. I mean, this is an abject, purposeful lie to the American people for the express purpose of passing legislation.

This is total fraud. It is 100% fraud.

It is obvious where this is going. It is just a matter of time until congressional Republicans start calling for President Obama’s impeachment, because he wouldn’t let the American people overpay for junk insurance that is ripping them off.

Getting better and cheaper health insurance to replace current substandard coverage is not fraud. Comparing anyone to Nixon is political shorthand for calling an elected official a criminal. Limbaugh has repeatedly stated that Republicans won’t impeach President Obama, but this hasn’t stopped him beating the Obama is criminal drum in order to whip up impeachment talk.

Signing legislation that will help tens of millions of Americans is not an impeachable offense. Wanting to expand access to affordable healthcare doesn’t turn Obama into Nixon. Limbaugh and his Republicans are overreaching again. They are now at the height of desperation. Republicans tried use the website as a reason to kill the whole law, and now they are trying to destroy this president because some people aren’t going to be able to keep their junk insurance.

This is not going to end well for the Republican Party. Millions of people are going to sign up once the federal website is fixed. The latest exaggeration about not being able to keep your insurance will be exposed when people’s bad policies are replaced with cheaper and better ones.

Republicans are going to massively fail on the ACA, and if they follow Limbaugh’s lead and turn the ACA into a criminal offense, the fallout will make government shutdown look like a Christmas party.
