The Secret Service must launch an immediate investigation into Donald Trump’s call for one of his supporters to shoot Hillary Clinton if she wins the White House.

Here is the transcript of Trump calling for someone to shoot Hillary Clinton:

Journalists are already questioning whether the Secret Service has ever had to investigate a person that they are protecting. It doesn’t matter whether Donald Trump was “joking” or not. The Republican nominee just made a threat against the life of Hillary Clinton.

This can not be allowed to stand. Republicans must not be allowed to brush this behavior under the rug as another one of Donald Trump’s “jokes.” The Secret Service must immediately investigate Donald Trump and his comments.

A private citizen can face criminal charges for threatening the life of a government official. Donald Trump shouldn’t get a free pass because he lucked into the Republican presidential nomination.

Trump must be held accountable for his dangerous statements, and you demand accountability by signing the petition calling for an immediate Secret Service investigation into Trump’s threat.

The Trump campaign has made death threats against Hillary Clinton twice in the last three weeks. We urge you to join us in calling for an immediate investigation and action.
