Donald Trump has completely forgotten about the presidential election and is instead engaged in trashing Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.
Ryan sent the signal to House Republicans that it is time to abandon Trump, “You all need to do what’s best for you in your district.” After Speaker of the House Paul Ryan told his House Republicans that he is done with Trump, the Republican nominee trashed the highest elected Republican official in the country.

Ryan still hasn’t taken back his endorsement of Trump, so he has earned no medals for political courage in the service of the public good, but the Republican Party is effectively writing off the White House in an attempt to save their House and Senate majorities.
