While campaigning in Pennsylvania Donald Trump just tried to blackmail Hillary and Bill Clinton to stop damaging tapes of Trump’s behavior from being released.
At a rally in Pennsylvania, Trump issued his threat:
Trump said, “I was getting beaten up for 72 hours on all the networks for inappropriate words from 12 years ago, locker room talk, whatever you want to call it, but I said to myself wait a minute, and I just saw inappropriate words, but Bill Clinton sexually assaulted innocent women, and Hillary Clinton attacked those women viciously. And one of them said more viciously than he attacked. If they want to release more tapes saying inappropriate things, we’ll continue to talk about Bill and Hillary Clinton doing inappropriate things. They’re so many of them, folks.”
Donald Trump admitted that there are more tapes of him saying more inappropriate things and that he is convinced that Hillary Clinton is behind the release of those tapes.
Trump was trying to blackmail Hillary and Bill Clinton. The problem is that what Trump is talking about was already covered by the media and debunked nearly 30 years ago. Trump can continue to talk about the bogus conspiracy theories that have been floating around since the 1990s. Voters have heard it all before, and they don’t care.
Donald Trump, the blackmailer, is just as weak and ineffective and Donald Trump, the presidential candidate.
Trump’s threat was the pinnacle of desperation from a candidate and a campaign that are in a total death spiral.
