Melania and Donald Trump have threatened to file several lawsuits in response to allegations of sexual assault made against the Republican nominee, but six people have come forward to corroborate former People writer Natasha Stoynoff’s allegations against Trump.
Melania Trump threatened to sue over the PEOPLE article, so the magazine responded with witnesses that corroborate their published story:
Six colleagues and close friends who corroborate former PEOPLE writer Natasha Stoynoff’s account of being attacked by Donald Trump in 2005 are now coming forward. Among them is a friend who was with Stoynoff when she ran into Melania Trump later in N.Y.C.
The wife of the Republican nominee denies meeting Stoynoff after the attack, but Stoynoff’s friend Liza Herz remembers being there during the chance meeting.
“They chatted in a friendly way,” Herz, who met Stoynoff in college, says. “And what struck me most was that Melania was carrying a child and wearing heels.”
The New York Times responded to Trump’s lawsuit threat by virtually begging him to file it, and now PEOPLE has responded by siding with their former writer and providing evidence that both of the Trumps appear not to be telling the truth.
The Trump threat to sue has been called out and exposed as more bullying hot air. Donald Trump’s presidential campaign has already sunk, but there may be little left of Trump’s brand after voters cast their ballots on November 8.
Trump’s bullying tactic has backfired, as the press won’t be silenced by threats of lawsuits that aren’t likely to come.
