The NBC News report runs contrary to a CNN story that Obama was just short of furious over Trump’s claims that the former president wiretapped him.
The nation has gotten know President Obama during the eight years of his presidency. The NBC report is consistent with Obama’s character, while the CNN report reads more like something that might come from the current White House to describe President Trump.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if Obama were angry. When a false allegation is made against one’s character, most people get angry. Out of office has expressed his concern for the American people, and a bemused ‘can you believe this guy’ attitude about Trump.
Obama continues to conduct himself with the class and dignity that defined his administration.
