Trump was trying to build suspense and media attention by holding an Apprentice-style reveal of his decision on whether or not the US would stay in the Paris climate agreement, has been wrecked by numerous leaks that he is pulling the US out of the deal.

The White House was clinging to this announcement in the desperate hope that they could change the subject away from Russia, but instead, their publicity stunt was wrecked by people within the administration who could not keep quiet.

Trump is so incompetent that he can’t even execute a distraction correctly. The current White House has a big corruption problem, but nearly the same amount of ineptitude that follows their every statement and move.
