Trump hijacked his photo-op with the world champion Chicago Cubs to complain about how sports teams don’t want to be seen with Trump.

Trump got in this little dig at the NBA champion Golden State Warriors, “This is a great team and they were actually here but they wanted to be here with Trump, right? I want thank and I want to congratulate them. Who’s the best hitter?”
This president is so insecure that he couldn’t do one of the most non-political parts of the job without personalizing it and taking a dig at people who he feels have slighted him. Maybe all of the Cubs didn’t want to be with Trump, but they wanted to see the White House because that is one of the perks of winning a championship.
The Golden State Warriors may go to Capitol Hill instead of the White House, and Trump is not happy about it. At an event that should have been non-political and fun, Trump had to make a visit by the Cubs about himself.
No matter what the situation, the unstable president can never be counted on to keep it together.
