Trump tweeted:
As you can see from the President’s last two tweets, he clearly got his inaccurate information from Fox and Friends.
The problem is that the program Trump was referring to was not Democratic, but bipartisan, and signed into law by a Republican president. The Diversity Visa Lottery Program passed the House with 264 votes, the Senate with 89 votes, and was signed into law by George H.W. Bush in 1990.
Trump is the “it’s not my fault” president. No matter what happens on his watch, there is always someone else to blame. Trump was blaming Chuck Schumer, not based on facts, but a segment that he saw on Fox and Friends.
Presidents are supposed to lead, but all Donald Trump is capable of doing is making excuses and watching Fox News.
A President is governing based on false information he is getting from a cable news network that exists to do nothing but feed him propaganda. This cycle is why the Fox News/Trump information bubble is a danger to the safety and security of the country. It is time for an intervention. Someone must take the television away from Donald Trump.
