Jared Kushner Busted For Failing To Produce Smoking Gun Emails Of Russia Collusion

Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and ranking member Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) wrote in an explosive letter published Thursday that Jared Kushner failed to produce emails that show that members of the Trump campaign were in touch with Sergei Millian and copied Kushner.

President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner received and forwarded documents concerning a “Russian backdoor overture and dinner invite” in 2016, according to the letter.

Kushner was also copied on Trump campaign officials’ communications with Millian, the man behind the more salacious allegations in the Steele dossier.

The Senators asked Kushner’s attorney, Abbe Lowell, that access be provided to complete transcripts from other committee interviews as well as providing missing documents from last month that have been ignored thus far such as the emails to Kushner regarding WikiLeaks and a “Russian backdoor overture and dinner invite.”

Grassley and Feinstein also asked Kushner’s lawyer to produce the documents that have been requested or provide а privilege log that describes the documents over which the President is asserting executive privilege as well as to produce communications with former national security adviser Michael Flynn, and documents related to Jared Kushner’s security clearance by November 27, 2017.

Former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page on Thursday delivered subpoenaed Trump Russia probe documents to the Senate and House intelligence committees.

Business Insider’s Natasha Bertrand noted, “It had not been reported that a ‘Russian backdoor overture’ was discussed in emails that Kushner ‘forwarded,’ the senators say, or that anyone on the campaign had communicated with Millian.”

The Trump Russia probe just exploded, even though it might not have made a loud noise. This bipartisan letter reveals that some members of the Trump campaign were in contact with Millian, the source behind the salacious allegations of the unverified in parts Steele dossier, and that Kushner knew this as he was cc’d on some of the emails.

That is what some might call a smoking gun and it’s in the hands of the President’s son-in-law. It’s no wonder Kushner didn’t hand over these documents. They clearly lay out evidence of Trump campaign interaction with Russians.
