House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) has been told by Trump’s Assistant Attorney General not to release his latest adventure in Russia conspiracy scams defending Trump.

The Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee claims to have information about a secret society within the FBI that is trying to bring down Trump, but he won’t let anyone see the memo. He won’t share it with the rest of the Gang of Eight who have the same level of security clearance that he does.
Senate Intelligence Committee Chair Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC) asked Nunes if he could see the memo and was turned down:
If Nunes did have such bombshell information, it would be his duty as a public servant to share it with others so that it could be investigated, but Devin Nunes isn’t interested in sharing his information because he knows that it is nonsense.
Rep. Nunes doesn’t have any facts. He has a conspiracy theory, and he is willing to jeopardize national security if that is what it takes to smear the FBI and protect Trump.
At the end of the day, this is all about protecting Trump and trying to kill the Russia investigation. This isn’t Nunes versus the DOJ. It’s Trump versus the DOJ. Devin Nunes is taking his marching orders from the Oval Office, and the DOJ letter is a reminder that corrupt president won’t stop until he has won his war with those who are trying to investigate his potential crimes.
