Devin Nunes Is Now Accused Of Obstructing Justice As Trump’s Russia Cover-Up Cracks

Rep. Mike Quigley (D-IL) accused House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) of helping Trump obstruct the Russia investigation during an interview on The Beat With Ari Melber.

Rep. Quigley said, “I think there are elements of what Mr. Nunez did that bringing them into the realm of obstruction of justice. I think there’s a really broad range that we give members for their ability to speak freely.”

When asked by Melber if it is possible that Nunes could be part of the obstruction of justice case, Rep. Quigley answered, “Let me put it this way, I think that the chairman as helped the white house obstruct this case. Whether that’s part of a legal entanglement, that’s a different story.”

The door is open for Devin Nunes to be investigated for obstruction of justice

Quigley did say that it is unclear whether Nunes is part of what is being investigated by Robert Mueller, but he did make it clear that the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee is helping the President Of The United States obstruct justice. The idea that Nunes could be investigated by a future Democratically controlled House of Representatives is not off the table.

It is gigantic that a member of the House Intelligence Committee would accuse his chairman of being involved in a plot to obstruct justice.

The Trump mechanism for trying to cover his tracks on the Russia scandal is crumbling, and Devin Nunes may find it impossible to escape justice.
