Stormy Daniels’ Lawyer Says Trump Is Heading For Many Sleepless Nights

On The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell, Stormy Daniels’ lawyer Michael Avenetti said that Donald Trump is heading for few sleepful nights if he depending on Michael Cohen not to crack.

Avenatti said, “This is a very serious development for Michael Cohen. It is putting him in the cross hairs. It is going to put him under a tremendous amount of pressure. And I don’t think he has the mettle to hold up, as I told Ari and others, and I’ve been saying this for a while, I don’t think he’s built that way. If I was the president of the United States or others, I would not have many sleepful nights from here on out if I knew that my fate ride on his ability to withstand the heat.”

If Michael Cohen can’t stand the heat, Trump will be cooked, because Cohen holds all of Trump’s secrets. It is a safe guess that Mueller is trying to get Cohen, who has not been cooperative with the Special Counsel, to flip. Michael Cohen has never argued in on Trump’s behalf. There is no indication other than his own tough talk that if he is faced with prison, Michael Cohen won’t flip on Trump.

Trump’s fixer is history, as the Stormy Daniels case may end up having larger implications than anyone could have imagined.
