Stormy Daniels’ Lawyer Just Made Trump’s Life a Living Hell

During an interview on MSNBC, Stormy Daniels’ lawyer, Michael Avenatti said that they are looking to get Trump under oath, and he asked the critical question of how Trump would know if the man who threatened Daniels was real or not?

Avenatti was asked by MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace about deposing Trump. He answered, “Well, certainly there is going to be discovery in the case. They’re going to be able to take my client’s deposition and I’m going to be able to take Mr. Trump’s deposition sooner rather than later hopefully relating to this tweet and what’s his basis of knowledge. I mean, how does he know? What’s really interesting about this is if he didn’t know anything about Ms. Daniels, never had a relationship with her, never knew anything about the in touch story, Michael Cohen and he never discussed it, never knew anything about the agreement, never knew anything about the $130,000 payment which is the nonsense he’s trying to sell the American people, how would he know whether the guy was nonexistent or not? What’s his basis for that?”

How would Trump know if the man who threatened Daniels was real or not if as he says, he never had a relationship with her? Trump’s story makes no sense, and it gets worse by the day. What did Trump know is an important question that is a common thread through all of the investigations into this president.

Trump created this completely avoidable problem all by himself. Trump could have waved Daniels’ NDA. She would have told her story, and the whole thing would have blown over, but by insisting on fighting with Daniels and her lawyer, Trump has walked into a trap that has turned his life into a living hell. He created all of this and eventually Stormy Daniels is going to get Trump under oath and sink what’s left of his dying presidency.
