‘Prepare to Die’: Mueller Looking into ‘Threatening’ Roger Stone Emails

The Wonderland of Trump World just gets “curiouser and curiouser.”

The President of the United States spent 13 hours yesterday tweeting about a former contestant on “The Apprentice” who, for some unknown reason, he later hired as a White House adviser, and now has written a “tell all” book.

The President’s current lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, was babbling incoherently again on TV, and his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, had to post a tweet denying the president used to eat paper after making notes during their meetings.

In the meantime, one of Trump’s closest friends, Roger Stone, posted an image on Instagram of him and others in Trump World wearing swastikas, while declaring “I love this.”

It’s hard to believe, but Stone really posted this. He’s either senile, crazy or now openly embracing the Nazi philosophy.

But that isn’t the only reason Roger Stone was in the news yesterday. It was also reported that Special Counsel Robert Mueller is investigating Stone for sending death threats via email. The charges relate to Randy Credico, a radio host and acquaintance of Stone’s, who reportedly was asked to contact Julian Assange by Stone.

Assange, of course, is the notorious fugitive known for founding WikiLeaks and publishing the stolen emails from Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee (DNC). (Which as we now know were stolen by Russian intelligence agents working for Vladimir Putin, who have since been indicted by Mueller.)

Credico has been in the news lately because he refused a request for a voluntary Mueller interview, saying he doesn’t want people to call him a “rat.” Therefore Mueller had to issue Credico a subpoena to get him to testify, and he is now scheduled to give his testimony after Labor Day.

As was reported previously, Credico has said that “the last thing that I would like to be known as is a rat.”

“I didn’t talk to the House committee and I’m not going to talk to the Senate committee,” he said.

Mother Jones had previously reported on the existence of emails between Stone and Credico, including one from Stone that said, “prepare to die c*ck s*cker.” Apparently the context of Stone’s threat is not clear but Mueller has a lot of questions for both him and Credico.

Credico’s lawyer Martin Stolar admitted that Mueller is investigating the Stone-Credico-Assange connection. He believes they worked together on the 2016 hack of the DNC that obtained dirt on Hillary Clinton.

It was reported that Mueller’s team “saw some emails” which led them to ask more questions and they are now investigating whether or not Credico was threatened.

In the threatening email referred to above, Stone said that it was nothing but a response he wrote after Credico told him that ”he had terminal prostate cancer.”

Credico, however, has said that he has never told Stone anything about prostate cancer, and he doesn’t have it. So clearly Mueller’s team believes Stone is lying, and they want to get to the bottom of the apparent threat on Credico’s life.

Stone has responded by saying he did nothing wrong.

“I have testified truthfully before the House Intelligence Committee that Randy Credico was the source who confirmed Assange’s June 2016 CNN interview in which the Wikileaks publisher said he had substantial information on Hillary Clinton,” Stone said. “As I testified Credico told me this material would be released in October. I now realize that Credico’s source was a Wikileaks lawyer and not Assange himself. At no time did Credico tell me what the source, content or scope of the WikiLeaks disclosures would be. ”

Former Stone aide Andrew Miller is another person who Mueller had to subpoena because of a lack of voluntary cooperation. Former Stone aide Kristin Davis, on the other hand, has cooperated voluntarily.
