Prosecutors May Have The Goods To Nail Trump As The National Enquirer Safe Contained Damaging Stories And Payment Docs

The safe at The National Enquirer contained damaging stories about Trump and documents related to hush money payments.

The AP reported:

The National Enquirer kept a safe containing documents on hush money payments and other damaging stories it killed as part of its cozy relationship with Donald Trump leading up to the 2016 presidential election, people familiar with the arrangement told The Associated Press. The detail came as several media outlets reported on Thursday that federal prosecutors had granted immunity to National Enquirer chief David Pecker, potentially laying bare his efforts to protect his longtime friend Trump.

The Journal reported Pecker shared with prosecutors details about payments that Cohen says Trump directed in the weeks and months before the election to buy the silence of McDougal and another woman alleging an affair, porn star Stormy Daniels. Daniels was paid $130,000, and McDougal was paid $150,000.

If those documents still exist, the odds are good that prosecutors have them as part of their immunity deal with Pecker. Prosecutors appear to be after something bigger than Michael Cohen’s guilty plea. It looks like they might be building a case against Donald Trump for leading and being the mastermind behind a criminal conspiracy. Trump is in big trouble, and it is easy to see why the White House has been so worried about Michael Cohen.

Cohen and Pecker have flipped. Cohen has pointed the finger at Trump as the person who was giving the orders. It is looking more and possible that the President Of The United States could become an indicted criminal conspirator, and if this happens, whether Trump is impeached or not, his presidency will be effectively over.
