A new complaint accuses Sarah Huckabee Sanders of engaging in illegal political activity by using her official government account to tweet a pic of herself and MAGA hat wearing Kanye West.

The complaint was filed by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) who said in a statement, “White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders likely violated the Hatch Act by using her official government Twitter account to tweet a photo of herself with Kanye West, who was wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat, in the Oval Office, according to a complaint filed by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) with the Office of Special Counsel (OSC). The Hatch Act forbids government employees from using official accounts to tweet out partisan campaign propaganda, including President Trump’s campaign slogan.”

Here is the picture that Sanders tweeted:
Kellyanne Conway violated the law when she told people to buy Ivanka Trump’s clothing from her official government position inside the White House. Sarah Huckabee Sanders broke the law when she used her official government Twitter account to attack a restaurant that asked her to leave.
The Trump administration has been breaking the rules and laws since they came into office because the current Republican congressional majority has done less than zero in doing any oversight of the executive branch. That will all change if Democrats win control of all or part of Congress. Suddenly, actions are going to have consequences. There will be hearings and investigations into the behavior of members of this administration.
Instead of looking at what Sanders did and saying so what, voters need to use this disrespect for the law as a motivation to go vote in November.
