John Dean said that the Trump felonies aren’t going to go away and that House Democrats will have no choice but to start impeachment proceedings against Trump.

Dean said, “I don’t know that it will disappear into some dark hole of unimpeachable presidents. I think it will resurface in the Congress. I think what the totality of today’s filings show is that the house is going to have little choice the way this is going, other than to start impeachment proceedings.”

Trump is now an unindicted co-conspirator in multiple felonies. If the majority of the American people begin to demand impeachment proceedings and the evidence of impeachable offenses continues to grow, House Democrats will have no choice but to begin impeachment proceedings. House Democrats have been playing it smart. They know that they were not given the majority to immediately get into an impeachment fight.
Democrats have been planning on conducting their own House investigation into the Russia scandal. They have also been waiting for the Mueller report, which will be a big part of the evidence that will be used to launch an impeachment investigation. Like Dean, I believe that House Democrats will have no choice but to impeach Trump. It is more a matter of when, not if, impeachment happens.
Trump has committed so many crimes that the most difficult choice that House Democrats will face will be narrowing down the list in the articles of impeachment.
